I love how they balanced a futuristic sci fi look with a grounded modern military aesthetic. I can actually imagine most of these guns in the near future. And those sound effects and animations are on point
The ammo count part is pretty easy to add to a gun actually
Only thing is that the counter should use a combo of barrel count and magazine spring count, but it’s very possible
Feels like Distritc 9 and chappie vibes
The sound the bolt carrier makes at 5:57 when the Spitfire goes empty is AMAZING
It's kinda like the Garand's "PING"!
I love how the guns are still grounded in reality despite being in a futuristic setting with AI and FTL travel. Almost every extra part on a gun has a purpose, like ammo displays and exhaust ports so the gun doesn’t explode. It makes the world feel so much more believable.
Flatline not so much. Falls into the trap of having a magazine too far back so that the bolt can't pick up any rounds.

have a pro blem with AK have to many knockback that always make you hit the bird instead of your enemy? this Flat line is come to save you it desire to make knockback not pitch your gun up
have fun shoot every one stand beside your target and not one of bullet land on your target

I love all the little details on these guns. The MGL belt is empty when you’re on your last two shots. You can see each individual shell cycle in the EPG. The springs in the Spitfire and G2 mags get loose towards the end of the mag. The battery connection on the Thunderbolt is red hot when you reload. All of the things that tell you how much love was put into this game.
A lot of these animations where done by 'hyper'. Check out his youtube channel if you're into this kinda stuff. He's got lots of really funny animation from when he wasn't working AAA.
I didn't know he made some of these. That's awesome that he's getting exposure. I remember finding his channel about 2 years ago and laughing my ass off.

Mr Willis not a CoD fanboy or sumthin but what they did is they based the guns on past guns because its basically an improved version of it, that will probably also happen in the real future like an AR-15 firing lasers because everything has a basis
"firing lasers" one does not fire off a laser like a projectile. It's either some kind of energy or it's self sustaining plasma.

Industrial lasers can only cut object slowly and they loose power drastically with increased distance. So as a projectile weapon they are a terrible idea.

No one mentions the extremely slow travel time of those laser beams but you talk about sound not being authentic. Common man from ground up its all BS.
Having played both games, they all sound ok in my opinion. They all sounds like this: Pew Pew Pew. yeah pretty much.
Smart Pistol: Gangsta's wet dream. You can hold it sideways and it still headshots shit due to its heat seeking bullets.

I like that all the weapons are weapon systems, like the hemlok bfr is the assault rifle version of the spitfire, the volt is the smg version of the x55 devotion, the t201 is the the carbine version of the longbow dmr, the alternator is the smg of the doubletake.

It actually adds realism to the weapons we see in game, like how in real life a weapon can have different variations to make it a totally different firearm for different purposes (real life examples: AUG, AUG PARA, AUG HBAR; G36, G36K, G36C, MG36)

I just love the ammo counter on every gun. Totally not needed, but really high tech looking and cool. Of course , some guns didnt have counters such as the sidewinder, but still. Cool addition

Oh boy, his animations gives me gun-gasms.
I love how Hyper uses the camera to give an animation more character, like how the camera moves slightly to the right in the Wingman to show where the pilot is looking at (the chamber).
I always liked the sound design that was put into these things like when you're nearing empty or the click once you're actually empty. Really good attention to detail.
By far the best fps game in history and the most fun! Amazing animation, actually a pretty good story, fun multiplayer, just overall replayable any day!

Who ever animated these, did a great job, and judging by the reload of the Smart Pistol, they helped with Infinity Ward's CoD MW 2019.

I just love when a game goes through the effort of actually animationing the trigger finger
If you look closely, you’ll see that the epg’s magazine is transparent, meaning you can see the mechanism of the round being loaded into the barrel when you fire.
I really want to see more of these weapons on Apex. Some of these weapon designs are top-notch, and deserve to be brought to the Titanfall universes’ spiritual successor.

I got the game on launch day, played it all the time. I was beyond disappointed when I logged in after the Tricks and Treats update dropped and found that the Mozambique and Wingman Elite were moved to the primary weapons. They were such fun secondaries and now they’re mediocre primaries.

I love how they have stuff that would normally be hacks in a nonfuturistic shooter as features. Aimbot pistol. Map hack. Grenade launcher path mapping. Turning invisible. It's a genius way to make things more fun even tho some of those can be bad sometimes
Imagine how badass would a sawed-off double barrel shotgun look in this game, running & going roof by roof shooting from the hip and realoading, awwww beautiful!
Best pistol - Mozambique (just use it)
Best shotgun - mastiff (that range tho)
Best assualt rifle - hemlock

Best sub machine gun - not too sure since they're all good
Best LMG - devotion
(currently the most overused gun in the game)
Best grenadier - softball or epg
Best ATW - grenade launcher
Best sniper - Kraber (it's got velocity and drop but once you get past that, it's pretty awesome what this thing can do for you)

My favorite part of the animations here is the attention to detail when it comes to reloading a weapon that still has a round in its chamber vs reloading an empty weapon, where reloading an empty weapon has an additional animation of the character locking a fresh round into the empty chamber before the weapon's ready.
Funnily enough that is also an inaccuracy the game makes by not taking that extra round in the chamber into account. As it just disappears after you reload, or the new mag has one less bullet in it

В этой игре очень крутое ощущение от стрельбы, охрененно сделано звучание каждого оружия, визуально каждая пушка имеет свои фичи и при этом еще анимации просто ювелирные. Жаль что эта игра не стала такой популярной. Реально игра заслуживает большего, имея такую громадную работу над деталями. Разработчики должны были сделать что то более популярное, их труды бл вот ты оценены сполна. Реально очень жалко.
