Greetings from Colombia, i have high blood pressure. Since I read that covid 19 kills high blood pressure Men I started to walk and do push ups every single day.
I appreciate your advice in encouraging your viewers (including me) to keep physically active especially during a pandemic when a person starts becoming less active at home. Please let us know what you eat for lunch, snacks and dinner everyday. Thank you for your service & contiued informative medical talks 😍👏
Thank you, Dr. Mike Hansen. I totally agree with you when it comes to exercise. I'm 62 years old and my daily exercise is walking for 7 miles every day except on Saturday is my resting day. Overall I'm in perfect health as well as eating healthy. May God continue to bless you & your family.
Thank you Dr. Hansen, this video helped reiterate why exercise is so important and encouraged me to get up off the sofa for my resistance and HITT training with my dumbbells and kettlebells! As a 52 year old female it is especially important that I keep my bones strong. I also enjoy 3 or 4 x 90 minutes walks each week. Also very important to stay hydrated with water. Best wishes from Scotland 🏋️♂️🏃♀️🧘♀️
Thanks Dr. Hansen, this video was very interesting and there were a lot of takeaways from all the information you presented. I will definitely step up my exercise routine.
I had my second Pfizer vaccination 10 days ago. I get to go back to the gym in 4 days and I'm thrilled. It's been over a year since I got "real" exercise. I need it physically, mentally and emotionally.

Greetings to you Dr. Hansen. Much thanks for taking the time out from your schedule to educate and inform persons of a healthy lifestyle. This video also shows that our every day comfortable lifestyle can be a health hazard. Once again much thanks to you God bless & be safe.👍
thanksDr. Hansen, exercise really affects our daily life. I love aerobics , and makes me healthy and mentally. thanks for making this video . bless you.
I realize I am depressed, before this plandemic we went to the gym and did Senior group exercises, Silver Sneakers, but we were shut down last year, yes I've done video exercises, but haven't been back, will try to make it in person starting 7/19/21...Thanks for the advice and information.
Dr Mike, you encourage us in so many way. With all the great information you share and now the importance of exercise. I always look forward everything you share! Jerry from Spokane, WA
I worked out since I was 14yo. I hit my mid-40’s and that motivation to get into the gym disappeared. Even TRT at 200mg/week doesn’t get that drive back.
Im glad I found this video. Thank you for making it. I ride my longboard between work and home 2400 miles every year alone. Im a dishwasher by trade. So everyday is a full workout. I don't go to a doc unless I'm injured. Im 36. Ive been riding boards since I was 5. Im not diabetic. Zero meds. Should I start to monitor my stats? What should I do about my joints that lock up?
Well you know what they say, move it or lose it. Moving clears out your lungs and making your blood move around your body that's good for you. Of course consensus deep breathing periodically throughout the day is also good for your lungs. I've always had high HDL it always gets flagged as abnormal in my blood work that always makes my laugh because this is a good thing not a bad thing. At least for me short bursts of exercise thoughout the day and yoga and meditation works for me. Dr. Hansen always like information it's always helpful.
I love this Dr. Mike. I Have been exercising sense I was 19 years old. But I grew up by the beach and I always swim. So I was always physically working out. And everything you said is so true.. but things I didn’t know you said new to me. I love this video and I be watching it again and share. ❤️
Dr. Hansen, much information. Thank you very much.💕 you have encouraged me to be more active. I already excercise but not enuf. You have enlightened me to better health. 😷
Good Evening! Dr. Mike Hansen, I appreciate your essay on the exercise for a better quality of life for all types of lifestyles, both women, men, children and the Senior Community. It is healthy; Maintaining an exercise routine every day helps us reduce the possibility of health complications. Unfortunately; there are people with certain hereditary diseases; such as diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma and / or fatigue. We know! you are an example of asthma at your youth; Today! you have sought to improve his quality of life by including exercises in his lifestyle and routine life. Now! you are not 100% dependent on asthma medications for a healthy quality of life. Observations and recommendations to people with diabetes; They are extremely positive: including exercise in your daily life helps control blood sugar levels. People with type 1 diabetes (insulin dependent); they can include a daily exercise routine; which contributes to reducing blood sugar levels and depending on high doses of inulin during breakfasts, lunches and dinners. What; you explained in your article(video); it is necessary to maintain a monitoring of the level of sugar in blood; take a sample before breakfast, lunch, dinner and at bedtime to determine the amount of insulin to supply. Obviously; to include physical exercise (running, cycling, any other exercise); have sugar levels prior to exercise; to control the duration of the exercises to be performed. At your article; You was speaking about the proper functioning of the brain; neurons depend on good nutrition and blood circulation in the body. I I would like include at your article; people with diabetes and / or hypoglycemia conditions; they have to constantly monitor blood levels; very low blood sugar levels; greatly affect the functioning of the brain. Remember! The brain needs to receive sugars for performance function ( are biological junctions through which ' signals can be sent to each other ). Have constant periods of low blood sugar levels; neurons die and the brain stops working properly. It is advisable; keep diet and exercise controlled daily. Dr. Hansen; your article (video) is very valuable when informing at your TH-cam viewer that exercise improves our quality of life. Thank you; for taking your valuable time on broadcasting Benefits of Execise. Notice! I am not a health professional.
Very very helpful information indeed. We thank you Dr. I am very active, runs 8.5km alone, 3km with my dog and twice 60 minutes Floor exercises all these in a week. Last year added Jumping Jack's upto 150 reps x 2 and had to reduce that tremendously as I lost lots of weight. Non diabetic and blood pressure under control still taking medication. What is the latest on Covid-19 and Hypertension medication? Please research and share your video once again. 👏👏👏👏🇿🇦
Hi Dr. Hansen. I just turned 30 this year. Not denying the benefit of exercise, but I keep getting bowel obstructions and end up in the hospitals sometimes after I started to exercise. Just curious if there is any studies that link exercise and SBO? I guess it's just not for me lol. Thanks for sharing such informative video.
I used to excercise all the time but the past few years I seem to have lost the motivation along with developing Spine and Hip issues. I'm not a couch potato but you won't see me at the gym or running a marathon. I have COPD from smoking so running, jogging and hiking is almost impossible. I usually walk and swim laps at the county indoor pool now that it's open again.
Hiya Mike, LEGEND, and your other furry companion (can’t recall their name) Sorry! I found them! LUCKY!!! 🍀❤️❤️❤️ I am messaging you to wish you and yours a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and wishing you a happy healthy New Year!!! 🎅🏼🎄🔔🎁🐕🐕 🥳🎅🏼🎄🔔💝🐕🐕 EDIT:
Are you familiar with vasovagal syncope and Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome I was diagnosed back in March I’ve struggling and noticed that red bumps have been appearing on my skin is that something that happens with pots syndrome?
Nice video!! Am 51 and because of remote working, I’m trying to walk plus intervals short runs for combined walk & run for 40 minutes two to three times a week. When I come back from my run, I’ll do 10-15 push ups and 12 stomach strengthening moves. Is that a good work out routine?
Walk over 2.50 miles a day it helped get me here w/ stage II COPD I never smoked but mother did till day she left! Turns out have lung version of Alpha 1 gene couldn't figure out why kept getting pneumonia. I got my vaccine & oxi numbers are better!
