The Ultimate Bucks Team

- In this series, I assemble what I believe is the greatest team possible for each franchise. In this specific video, we're looking at the Milwaukee Bucks.
5 starters, 5 backups, and 3 rotations players. A total of 13 roster spots on each Ultimate Team. It's not just about talent, but it's about building a team that works and gels together.

The game of Basketball has been my passion since I was 5 years old. I grew up as a kid watching my dad's recorded VHS tapes of playoff games through the 70s and 80s, and collected all the Basketball cards. Something about the game and what it represents just hooked me from a very young age.
My love for the game only continues to grow as time goes on. I love studying and analyzing the game, with an unbiased perspective. Feel free to subscribe, follow me on social media, and celebrate this amazing game and it's rich history with me!
I post videos every week on NBA history, predictions, hypothetical scenarios and current NBA topics.

If you couldn’t pick the Lakers, Celtics, Warriors or Bulls, which organization has the greatest All-Time squad?
NOTE: Just to clarify, I do plan on including players in multiple teams, if he was good enough for make both squads. Since we’re in a hypothetical scenario where we can bring all these players together through time travel, we’ll also go with the theory that we can have the same player from different timelines. Lol.
At the conclusion of this 30 team series, I will post a video of a 2k simulation, and find out which team is the greatest…. according to 2k.
Besides those 4, possibly the Spurs or Rockets. Maybe the sixers.
SIXERS were all correct...but now i have to disagree, M.REDD was better with the BUCKS then R.ALLEN was...
Might be this Bucks team. Maybe Rockets too
Miami Heat bro, J will, D-Wade, Lebron, Bam, Shaq.
@@PROA55Alonzo Mourning?
This is a great background series that you can pump out when it’s a slow news week. Anything to avoid Lebron vs MJ phenomenon that a lot of media fall into
Lol
@@DraGanix33 i think they would play basketball hahhha
@@DraGanix33He didn’t turn it into a conversation.
Exactly,
Johnny's been killing it.
@@DraGanix33He didn't bring it up, but you tried to and no one took the bait.
Those bait traps are starting to fail, Im so glad Y-T is growing up maturing past that Albeit slowly.
Glad to see Ray Ray getting some love..... Folks forget how good he was as a Buck he was way more than just a shooter 💯
Facts, He was a menace...
Don't forget Redd
I like that you don’t just go based off talent but more fit wise.
Can you think of anyone who should be here on talent, but isn't, due to it?
@@josipdolibasic4143 Bob Lanier, Junior Bridgeman and Paul Pressey
@@josipdolibasic4143 REDD should be in the starting 5.
if we’re going off talent than damian lillard should def make it
1971 Milwaukee Bucks is easily their best team in franchise. A sophomore Kareem was already breaking records, and making a splash in the NBA. Oscar Robertson was still making an impact by facilitating, and Bob Dandridge was a fantastic 3rd option as well.
can you give a comparison to this era. wondering what this would look like rn
@@byungshin8773 The 1971 Bucks would still be able to thrive in this era, and in any era. They had productive scoring, high efficiency, great ball movement, and elite defense. I would argue that Oscar Robertson would average more assists today, since the rule made it hard for him to earn those stats. The rule was that he if a receiving player takes too long to score, or if they dribble the ball, then the assist does not count. In turn, Kareem would also average more points as well due to the fast pace of today’s game.
@@damonsonnier34 nah im saying more or less replace those guys with players from this era. who are those people.
@@byungshin8773 In terms of production? Well, the only players comparable to Oscar Robertson would probably be either James Harden, Russell Westbrook, or Luka Doncic. Kareem is comparable to Giannis, and I am not quite sure about Bob Dandridge.
Don't forget Dick Cunningham and McGlocklin🔥🔥🔥
So glad to see this series again. The Bucks have always been one of my favorite All-Time teams.
Underrated franchise. They had great teams in the ‘80s, but the Sixers and Celtics were just a bit better.
Bucks are strange team, not saying you are because you're still a Fan.
But for one year they hand alot of bandwagon fans, lost them now Got them back Again.
Prior to that outside of Milwaukee, you never used to hear anything from Bucks fans.
Same for Denver, Allot of Small market teams typically have Dual Fandom.
Im the Biggest Hypocrite of all Fans I grew up in NYC a Knicks fan, I hate the Way Dolan runs the team & treats its old players like Charles Oakley , But I've lived in Miami 1/2 my life.
Im a Heat/Knick Fan... and they're Rivals.
Idea for you:
At the end of this series after you’ve done every team, ask your fans to seed every ultimate team you’ve made and make a hypothetical ultimate tournament and determine who would win the tournament.
In the first video he said he’s going to run an NBA 2K simulation
The Milwaukee Bucks are still memorable when they had Sidney Moncrief, Marques Johnson, Paul Pressey, Junior Bridgeman, Craig Hodges, Terry Cummings, Ricky Pierce and Jack Sikma.
The Bucks of the 1980s are underrated.
The Bucks were a very strong team back then.
Sidney Moncrief's legacy diminished by the utter basketball perfection of Larry Joe Bird🏀🏆
Coach Don Nelson Sr ("Nellie Ball")
Best team in that generation that didn’t make the finals
Not a bucks fan but I love this video. Still waiting on the 4 years in Miami video with Bron, Wade, and Bosh
Thank you for continuing the series! Some teams will be interesting due to how hard it will be to recognize everyone deserving of the recognition while others will be interesting because it'll be hard to find enough who are!
I've been binging this series but it's crazy to see how balanced this team is. They don't have a weakness. People forget Michael Redd was an absolute sniper in the 2000s. Prime Ray and Redd on the same team will be hard to stop from 3.
Also that starting 5 is sick. Big O, prime Ray, Giannis and prime Kareem on one team is crazy. This team has defenders, pure scorers, great facilitators, team players.
This team might surprise some people
Ray Allen was a lot better with the Bucks and Supersonics compared to his Celtics days. really underrated
Probably the Best Version of Ray .
He was at his prime in Sonics for sure.
Loving this series so far. When you have two time DPOY Sidney Moncrief coming off the bench, you know you have a stacked backcourt. That starting five is just amazing. I don't think the second unit matches up to what most other teams in this series will have available, but I'm looking forward to seeing how it all shakes out in the end.
This is gonna be a fire series
I rly fw this this team is very versatile they got shooting defense, rebounding the works ❤😂
I want you to keep doing this series too. Loved this episode and I love your Bucks team. When you start creating a Bucks' team, it's amazing to think about all the guys you could've included on this team too.
Jonny is quickly becoming my favorite NBA TH-camr
Facts bro so creative. Keep up the good content
I always watch a Jonny Arnett vid everytime im about to eat, his vids are like the ones where you dont need to keep your eyes on it everytime but still understand what hes saying. Keep it up bro, you make my food eating more entertaining lol 😆
Mr Arnett this series is awesome, it’s a must watch for any basketball who wants some nostalgia & also to the newer generation who wants to learn about its history as well
That is a VERY scary starting lineup.
Hey man, I’m so glad that you are doing this, I’ve been writing down all time teams for years now.
15 player roster
5 starters, and then I have 2 players from each position on the bench!
I have over 250 all time teams now!
Keep up the good work Johnny!
250 all time teams? Are you doing other sports? How is that possible...
@@NotGord nope! Just The NBA. I’ll give you some examples. I have all 8 All Times teams of different decades
All time 1950s
1960s
70s
80s
Goes up to the 2020s
I also have all time Division/conference teams, best players to play in the southeast, Pacific, Northwest, etc. among many others but yeah, I haven’t seemed to run out of topics yet.
Imagine if the Bucks kept Dirk's draft rights, would they have made the finals in 01? It would definitely be a cool series
Imagine that the bucks is a franchise
@@felipevitorino3183 What do you mean?
Yea they make it
The level of research is off the charts. Great job!
It's interesting to see how much talent the franchise has had, especially for younger fans. Great series.
really love the idea of redd and middleton on the wing, insane shooting
So happy about your approach man, even if only 70% of people watch the series, those 70% love it greatly!!
I ♥️ this series. Thank you for continuing with this. There are so many elite players that we tend to forget them.
This is my first time seeing this series. I would love for you to continue this. Following along the way.
Just from the thumbnail I’m reminded of how awesome this team is. Honestly hard to pick between them and the Sixers
Really? The Sixers have it so far, but the Lakers and Celtics have even more talent than them.
@@T.H.E.O.R.Y.even the lakers second unit would be good
@@T.H.E.O.R.Y. it's tough. The Barkley & Wilt vs giannis & Kareem matchup could go either way, but I'd lean on the bucks side for that specific matchup. But then AI would control the scoring on the 76ers for sure so I guess the 76ers take this matchup
@MrE_ While I do get what you're saying, I mean and believe the entire Sixers roster is better than the Bucks one.
Kareem and Giannis are doubtless as imposing as a twin towers as any other yet to be seen in this series, but I mean the roster head to toe is a tad more imposing.
Thank you Jonny, I'm sure this series will take off eventualy
Commenting to help out that algorithm just cause this series is fire asf
Pretty good 👍 Jonny. But I'm waiting for the masterpiece - The ultimate Lakers squad.
Absolutely love this series, so glad you are keeping it going! Thank you Jonny!
I really want to see a full series on this subject. You made me love the game of basketball and I will never be able to express how grateful I am for that. Cheers from Brazil
These videos are great, people sometimes just want to hear about lebron james or micheal jordan but those who appreciate basketball love this
I was wondering where you'd put Moncrief. Fantastic! This team would be a terror on both sides of the ball, and everyone compliments one another.
Good stuff. Keep them coming! Surprised this didn't immediately pick up a lot of steam. Will be watching religiously
Dude u obsessed me to find your video with sixers, reminds me modes of basketball games with the best of eighties versus the 90s squad etc
I love this series, I cant wait to see what you do for the lakers!
Myself as well.
Bro, I love this content. I’m learning so much, keep going.
i like the new editing format 🔥
Nice Roster I definitely agree with your Picks Good Job I forgot about Michael Redd
This team is Super Solid. Sydney Moncrief doesnt get enough recognition. The guy was a defensive monster. GP before GP.
IKR
Offensively & Defensively
Elite Shooters of which one is the all time Top 3 or 4
Center who was/is in the Goat debate
A Generational Freak Athlete.
Oscar at the Point.
The fit is Crazy.
But No team has had more super stars than the Lakers, they can put together a Starting Five from players who've all made the Top 50 list
And Bench from top 75
I would love to see this in 2k. This series should continue dont stop it
Let’s go I’m so glad to see that you decided to continue I really enjoyed the 76ers video and I cannot wait for you to do my Denver Nuggets.
Awesome video, Jonny! I like the choices you made. I remember both Allen and Redd being great shooters and I think Redd would be a great backup for Allen. Kareem and Giannis would be such a dominant big man combo. Oscar Robertson was amazing also and I remember learning about Moncrief from a couple of your videos. Great lineup and choices. Hope you have a nice Saturday 😊
Yes please continue it I love these videos
So glad you continued the series. Do the Orlando Magic next!!
Hes goign in alphabetical order i think.
So glad you are continuing! I know historical content generally didn’t do as well unless it’s debate oriented, but this is such interesting and quality content.
Man, your channel is pure gold. The basketball knowledge you spread to younger generations is a necessary thing. I learned a lot with you and I thank you for that my friend.
You're so underrated ❤ hopefully you'll get the recognition that you deserve best basketball yt for sure
Glad to see a Michael Redd appreciation video
Keep it up
Great series incoming can’t wait to watch!
Love this series 😂😂😂you are awesome my friend. Don’t stop ever!!! Mad respect from Alaska my friend!🎉
I’d argue adding Sam Cassell to the lineup. Dude was a winner. Great vid as always 👍
Stop it he wasn't better than Oscar or Sidney.
Love this line up. The only difference I would make is putting Glen Robinson in the 2nd unit over Kris Middleton but I feel in general you got this right.
Great series, though I think you're gonna have a job to do with Minnesota.
Favorite series atm
So glad you’re keeping this going
Thank you for continuing the series
keep up the series jonny
Thank you Jonny, keep doing of these videos!
I love this series! I can’t wait for my hometown spurs video, as well as some poverty franchises like the hornets or clippers.
Johnny, once you've done all 30 squads, you should do an all-time tournament and break down your analysis for each one.
This series is awesome! As a lifetime celtics fan i'm excited to see a video about their all time squad.
Thank you for including Big Dog.
thanks so much for keeping more of these coming
YEEES JONNY!!! Love The series, keep it up!!
Before I started watching you I had absolutely no interest in basketball but now I can talk to just about anybody about facts and details and statistics and I love it you are very educational an incredible entertaining content creator please keep the series going I absolutely love
Keep the series going.
I support this series. I'll watch every video. Go Lakers!
Thanks for keeping series going
Bob was the 2nd greatest center of the 70s, durable, consistent and dominant. He deserves the backup spot
No he don't Vin Baker was a nightmare in his prime he can do things Lanier dream of
Lanier was too mate, he wasn't that menacing but his finesse is underrated. You don't get 20 and 10 in the era of McAdoo, Kareem, Cowens, Moses Malone and Bill Walton without actual skills. He was a good defender, too
Only based on his time with the bucks.
Love this series, please continue
great video, I really like this series :)
Glad to know you will do this series for all 30 teams I’m a Bulls fan so I will have my team with you next video lol
Thanks Jonny
So glad to hear this continuing, and so fascinating to hear your insight on team chemistry/versatility! I'm really psyched to hear the breakdown of my Pistons...you obviously have a wealth of options for team-oriented defense, but there are some interesting decisions to be made to generate points and consider chemistry.
I'm amazed that this didn't do as well, the series seems like an automatic win
Yay!! All 30. Your best series!
Keep these video’s coming
I love this concept, Keep these videos coming!
Please keep it up, love this series
Love the series!
Let's freaking go this is an amazing idea.
Hell yeahhhh! Keep ‘em up
Keep them coming Johnny! I love these videos!
I promise to watch and comment on every one of these videos!
🫡 that helps!
Keep doing this series bro.
Please never stop these videos this is dream series to watch
Lets keep it going!
I quite like this series. Im a nuggets fan, so I cant wait for them, although I think we'll heavily disagree on the team for them specifically
What a sick first unit
Love this series 🔥🔥🔥
Keep them coming sir 🙏🙏🙏
Love your content
Keep it up, no matter what the initial numbers lead you to believe.
You have great insight while simultaneously not being too broad nor nerdy.
The peak of any sports video is going to be when that sport is most relevant; my assumption for greatest players topics would be end of season/playoff time, HOF time, or All-Star weekend.
Your assessment of most players and teams is far above average. Anyone who doesn’t consider themself a reputable source, and plenty who do, will learn from your content if they actually care half as much as you do.
Hats off to your entire library of work!!!!!
This is a unique format! Don’t stop Jonny! Will spread the word amongst hoop fans in Hungary to watch all 30!
Maybe do a best Allstat squad from each decade?:)
Great stuff
I love this series
I’m so glad you decided to continue the series Jonny. I think it’s a brilliant idea and will accumulate views over time. 👍👍
Thank you 🫡
