Just got a spool on the way for my wagon. This video is very useful! Don't have an impact driver but I do have good sockets for my breaker bar. See how it goes!

Honestly best upgrade, I'm still beating on the same spool I got 5 years ago with no issues.
Breaker bar will be fine, just use a good quality 6 sided hex socket not a multipoint to avoid stripping it and remember they are reverse thread.

if the locating dowels are sheered off I have come up with a couple more ideas since this video to sort that out that may be worth a try but it takes pretty bad conditions for it to do that
