Fitting an EATON / DETROIT TRUETRAC Limited Slip Differential to the Commaero

Fitting an Eaton / Detroit TRUETRAC Limited Slip Differential to my Saab 2.3 turbo powered Commer van.
As I've fitted a Rover P5b rear axle to my Commer it allows me to make use of Land Rover differentials and in this case, Limited Slip Differentials.
In this video I fit a Torsen / helical gear type LSD.

With a torson if you have a wheel in the air it just takes a little brake to trick it to think its on the ground and get power to both sides

The torsen is a fine choice. I fitted a quaife torsen in my scimitar and it's fantastic, best bits of open diff and best bits of a plate type LSD. 👌

Where's the first second and third gear 1/8 mile long wavy elevens? Jobs not done til it's tested properly. You'd be a braver man than me if you tried drifting it though. I had my commer sideways accidentally once and that ended with my mate pulling me out of a ditch.

What oil do you use in this truetrac?

Regular diff oil. It has no clutches or anything to need something fancy with additives. So regular ep90

Yeah its the excessive one wheel peels that are the killers. But even an open diff will spin up both on occasion.
