I was born in ‘78 so I was an 80’s/early 90’s kid/early teen. So I had my generations 80’s music. But, I grew up listening to my dad blaring Zeppelin, Joplin, Hendrix, Beatles etc. I became a huge HUGE Led Zeppelin fan because of that

As a guitarist I can tell you ... there is "playing" since I've been loving you and then there is "PLAYING" since I've been loving you. We all play it ,Jimmy Page PLAYS it. The passion you hear when he does it will never be matched and add Plants voice to that guitar you may as well make your O face . Nothing beats Zeppelin.

Zeppelin--like so many other British rockers--were understandably enamored with American Blues music. This song is one of the most obvious examples of their love for the Blues.
It has been said that Zeppelin were the 4 right people, who met at the right time. Page was a brilliant guitarist who had very distinct ideas about the band he wanted to form and the music he wanted to make. John Paul Jones was a totally underrated bassist and keyboardist--a seasoned session musician who was responsible for many of Zeppelin's greatest songs. John Bonham was the man who literally set the pace for the band, the drummer who was Zeppelin's "secret rhythm weapon", as one music writer once put it. And Robert Plant was the "Golden God"--the primal rock frontman who made all the women a bit crazy.
    Awesome reaction, Niah.

I'm 50 now and since I discovered Zeppelin at the age of 9 in 1979/80 I've always felt the exact same feelings when I hear their music, in particular their live stuff. All my friends and I were devastated after hearing about the tragic death of their Drummer John Bonham in 1980. We continued to celebrate their musical genius by going down to a theatre in Toronto every weekend when we were like 14 years old to watch their movie called the Song Remains The Same and with a packed house smoke weed and lose ourselves in their imaginations.
Led Zeppelin is what was and will always be, the best rock band ever.
I love and appreciate your video Niah. Thanks for that. Great job!

Finally a member of LFR family react to this song live. Is one of the best for me. Robert and Bonzo have the same age, I think, more or less, they have 23-24 years old. The coming in 1969, Robert had 19 years, in 1973...23-24. Jimi y Joncy 26 aprox. So young all !!. Bonzo died at 32 years, ten years after the band coming to play . Because Bonzo Died, Zeppelin died too

There's a reason that today's radio jockey always call them the Legendary Led Zeppelin. Been my favorite band since the early 70s and I was only in the 5th grade listening to 8 tracks. The battle of evermore is awesome too. Great job with your video, so good I subscribed and this was the first one I've seen lol... Peace.

It's great but I think Gary Moore R.I.P. would have something to say about that with his LIVE version of " I've Still Got THe Blues For You" with 48 Million views for a good reason John :)

First of all I love my beautiful intelligent woman. It makes it better when she reacts to extra cool songs! Keep it coming girl. If you get some time for yourself listen or react to David Phelps his most popular live videos. Songs like just as I am. No more night. Oh Holy Night. Nessun Dorma. Mio Bambino Caro. The dream. Water. And at the age of 52 recently he did his version of Whitney Houston's. I have nothing. There are many more but that's enough for now LOL. Love you girl till next time StayWell

This concert was in 1973 at that time Robert Plant was 24 almost 25. It was Their North American Tour, the footage was in Madison Square Garden. Later on, in 1976 they came out with a movie about them (same Footage) "The Song Remains The Same" Great stuff to say the least. Freeze on the police officer's face lol. Everyone was in shock the whole crowd. I'm 51 now and saw this when I was a kid I'm still like a kid watching it to this day. Oh, that guy named Jimmy Page was doing some Calypso fingerpicking style to Robert Plant's vocals towards the end, He is not your average
Rock guitarist God. It made me pick up a guitar at a young age. If you were amazed at Plant and Page, John Paul Jones Keyboards and John Bonham's drumming is second to none. The complete package. If you enjoyed this, From the same show look up "no Quarter"

Robert was 24 when this concert was filmed/recorded. That woman who you saw smiling in the audience was Robert Plant’s wife, Maureen.

No, it wasn't. Maureen Plant would've been backstage if she was there. Zeppelin didn't take the wives/girlfriends on tour.

As a player myself, this is Jimmy's most impressive soloing. His phrasing and tastefulness is impeccable. The Rain song is pretty and amazing but this is arthritis inducing.
