Led Zeppelin. Very popular amongst the masses. Yet amongst the professional musicians and every aspiring musician...they are the bar to surpass - Good Luck!
It doesn't get any better than this. Every single one of the four men in this group was phenomenal and can we please acknowledge John Paul Jones who played two instruments at one time, the keyboard and the bass... that's unheard of. ❤ I'm so glad I grew up when rock music was at its peak.
You are spot on. They are all virtuosos but more importantly they are all on the same musical wavelength and in perfect synch with each other to the point that they anticipate what each other is going to do. it's almost telepathy
I was 19 then and when the movie “ The Song Remains the Same “ came out, we were at the theater every Friday night. And the theater held it over for a year or so. Seriously, it was a packed house every Friday night. Kickin ass on guitar and face melting solos came from this movie.
I graduated from HS in 75; Zep was on our FM radios, 8-track tapes, and everywhere, back then. And now you know why. Congrats, and welcome to the club!
nice..i seen them first in 95' the no quarter tour and then again in 98' the walking into clarksdale tour....i just turned 51 and still listen to zeppelin once a day " HAMMER OF THE GODS"
@Ricky Spanish right on i just went to the GUNS & ROSES show, not in this life time tour and don't remember a thing...but i herd it was a good show....you can't kill rock and roll...
Ricky Spanish I do remember most of it plus I have it on bootleg. I remember there was a long delay for them to come back out for an encore. What was happening backstage was the cops (one was my Dad’s good friend who got me the tickets) wanted to arrest a Plant. He had hit a cop with his microphone during the concert for the way they were roughing up a fan. Badass.
"Is that Robert???" 😮 Sentiment probably echoed by everyone who had only heard him before. ;) Dude's one of a kind, I think only Freddie Mercury could match him in charisma and stage presence.
Daniel Nicholson I went to one and it was awesome! My only regret is that I didn’t get to see them even more. Had planned to go see them in 1981 but it just wasn’t meant to be, I guess.
I like your comment, "I wish I could have seen them back in the day". I did! My first concert ever, Pontiac Silverdome, April 30, 1977. Here's what's even better....these guys played for 3 1/2 hours! Best ever!!!!!
Jimmy was the best session player in England at the time and one of the best guitarists ever and he still is .And Robert the best voice of rock and roll period
It’s nearly the perfect live performance. The entire concert is possibly one of the best ever recorded. I remember reading that their first concerts went on for 3 hours. The stamina displayed by John Bonham is incredible and he is loving every moment. Just an incredible display of the defining moment where ‘epic’ and ‘concert’ were put together in a meaningful way.
This is the song that got me into led zeppelin, went to the midnight movie to see this with all the hippies smokin weed in the theater. I was about 12 and was hooked on the band from that day forward. The best in my opinion.
Now you know and heard the best rock group ever , there's more you just have to listen to . They got the blues , the funk , hard rock sound that nobody can ever match
I was 16 when this came out, and it still sounds awesome 😎 these guys were in their early 20’s, the talent is ridiculously fucking awesome. The best of 🇬🇧 great reaction my friend 👌🏻
Great reaction man! Truly. I’m one of the people who requested this performance so thank you for listening. These guys had so much talent it’s mind blowing... once in a lifetime group.

Ok, I came here to see your reaction to Led Zeppelin and was left with the desire to hear you sing a cover of their songs or really anything. Your voice is amazing.
Welcome to the great Led Zeppelin. They are the Hammer of the Gods. Four musical geniuses. Robert Plant on Vocals, Jimmy Page-Guitar, John Paul Jones - Bass, and the great John Bonham - Drums. All there songs are masterpieces. Love your reaction. They are the best rock n roll band ever.
A trip with Led Zeppelin is an incredible journey, & I am so jealous you are just starting yours now!!! Enjoy the rabbit hole, it is really deep, with many surprises, genres, & just plain musical genius!!! They say, once you get the Led in, it never comes out 😃

you made my Tuesday night! I saw Robert Plant solo in 1988, but never got to see Led Zep. the group Heart does an amazing version of Stairway To Heaven live at The Kennedy Center Honors with the members of Led Zeppelin in the audience.
THE G.O.A.T they broke every attendance record ever set by the Beatles, They were the first band too ever have a private jet. You really need to check out Ian Gillan with deep purple, "child in time" is where you should start. Powerful voice, God like range. Unbelievable song.

Led Zeppelin. Very popular amongst the masses. Yet amongst the professional musicians and every aspiring musician...they are the bar to surpass - Good Luck!
First live show I saw, Led Zeppelin in Indy 1978. I hadn’t yet turned 15 years old! Changed my life!!!!
Them ladies are mesmerized by Plant.

LMAO... welcome to the Zeppelin party, I've been here for almost 43 years.
Best BAND ever, ever!
I'm 60 and the very moment I heard them when I was about 9...I could hardly listen to much else!
I was coming down here to comment about the same thing! Sassyass....XD
I was 12 years old back in 1979 when my mom got me my very first Led Zep album, Led Zeppelin IV. Rest in peace mommy.

Led Zeppelin=G O.A.T.!!!
One of the things cool about Plant was he was straight and a ladies man ! Led Zeppelin the GOAT
There is no cure for the Zep sickness.
Nope......once it's in your system......it barely even goes into remission, haha!
Ok, but why would one want a cure for Zeppelin?
Feelin' bad never sounded so good.
I’ve been in critical condition since I was 12 in 1973
Led Zeppelin is THE greatest rock band of ALL TIME.
Period
They were, are and WILL ALWAYS BE the ultimate rock band.
Inspiring!!! Yes !!! You nailed it brotherman.
Legendary video..... Legendary band.... So much talent combined, mostly Plant and Page.... Godly!
