That was brilliant, well sung!!
Nice! Great voice, rhythm and dynamics. I love it.
When the human spirit transcends the gross
When youre high and walk home after rhe pubs shut
You drift past the old sleeping houses
The dark alleys transform
your heart sings to tihe universe
And angels guide your steps
Very enjoyable, thanks 🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘👍👍👍
Do this in Dublin or Glasgow on a good day your gonna have everyone on their feet screaming the words
It’s an English song written by an Englishman about Salford nothing to do with Ireland Lol
Not as weird as Catholics from Scotland pretending to be Irish while singing an English song.
Why not sing it in Salford?
Best version I’ve seen on YT
Excellent, as always...
Excellent rendition sir. WELL DONE LAD
Beautiful cover.
Thank you very much!

Wonderful as always x
imagine this on a Saturday night at Sauchiehall Street
I’d pay to hear this lad sing all day… Send him to the maritimes!!!! Start in newfound land, Cape Breton/Nova Scotia, P.E.I and end in New Brunswick !!!
Thanks brother! He’s one of the most talented buskers in London. We’ve created a playlist with his best videos on this channel
You are so true and great. Goods for this interpretation and

Thank you Steven! Appreciate your words. Feel free to share the video with your friends 🙏
Great sound
Nailed it.
Great!!
Merci
Great rendition.
This was my bread and butter tune back in the 80’s while busking the streets of Sweden/Norway.
No amps etc in those days!
Good job here 👍
Awesome my friend awesome 👍👏😎
This is not a Pogues song. They did a cover but the song was written by Ewan McColl.
They probably know, they just put the pogues so it reaches more viewers, as everyone knows the pogues version best.
@@dannyreed3962 no not everyone knows the pogues best Luke Kelly’s is a lot more popular in ireland and some other places and Luke’s is much better
@@James.E90 In Ireland yes, worldwide it's the pogues.
@@dannyreed3962 Originally released as a single in 1952. Before MacGowan was born. They say it was originally released in 1985 which it clearly wasn't.
Cover of a cover maybe but it should credit the person who actually wrote it as a matter of courtesy. And it is 'the gasworks croft' (now demolished) maybe a good idea to use the words that Ewan MacColl wrote.
Très bon..
Well done mate. "He's virgil van dijk"
He fucking nailed the cover!!!!! Wow you had Irish elements in there and that low growl in certain spots. I usually hate covers but damn you made up for all those instruments in one acoustic guitar. Dude fuckin' BRAVO! I'm about to replay it and excited 😆
Dirty Old Town is a Ewan MacColl Song and not a Pogues Song.
Oh yea, good catch! Thanks
Born James Henry Miller stage name Ewan MacColl.
I set out watching this video to not like it... didn’t last long. Well played 👏🏻
Thanks for your honesty Jordan 👏
Feel free to post the video on your social media. Thanks
HE IS VIRGIL VAN DIJK!
It's the dubliners who made it
