    The Insufflators using Carbon dioxide for expansion with volume and pressure have something similar to oxygen based Mechanical Ventilator using Pressure controlled mode and Volume controlled mode of polarized machines as I observed.

    What is the reason .the insufflator gas empty?

    • @BetterBiomedChannel
      @BetterBiomedChannel  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Gas is used throughout the procedure so it gradually declines. Insufflators can be either hooked up to Cylinder compressed gas or wall gas (piped). There is a difference between these pressures so the insufflators need to be set correctly so they wont alarm "Low Cylinder gas"

    Why it use CO2 not other gasses?

    • @BetterBiomedChannel
      @BetterBiomedChannel  ปีที่แล้ว

      CO2 is non reactive and non oxidizing. It's a naturally occurring gas in the body.

    Would this setup work for a Stryker Pneumosure XL?

      I believe so. I haven't touched a Stryker unit in years.

    Is this a energy source equipment

    • @BetterBiomedChannel
      @BetterBiomedChannel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No. Insufflation just controls air flow and pressure inside a cavity

    Thanks for all your videos. They have been super informative. I'm a software designer, and I'm currently starting a project looking at developing future concepts for RTLS, specifically how they can be more beneficial for Biomeds. I'd love the opportunity to chat with you about your experiences. You can fill out this short screener to get your contact information, or feel free to contact me directly edahl@ostusa.com
