The guys are fairly familiar with the products, but the application misses the mark.😉 However...now I'm scared to attempt a furniture makeover, because if you had so many problems after watching endless hours of Kacha while she paints, what kind of a mess will I make? It leads me to the conclusion that my first couple of pieces should definitely be just for practice, and not an item that I really want to be perfect. I just watched this video again after many months of watching Kacha and learning from her. Poor, poor Carlos! 😂 He seemed to be affected by Murphys Law through nearly every step. I really felt for him but at the same time....😂😂😂😂. Took a lot of courage and humility for him to let us all see this comedy. In the end, though, the piece wasn't just too bad (from a distance). 😊 Loved the whole thing. ❤❤❤
The reality is real Carlos. These ladies make it look so simple, but the spills and what is that? Are real. Been there! I think your project was very large for your first challenge. It did come out great tho, good for you for keeping cool. And Blue is adorable.

This is making my day...LOL My partner picked up a Mahagony drop leaf secretary with a hutch top, and he thinks he is going to flip it. I have already decided what needs to be done to make it beautiful and sellable. I will send him golfing..LOL

Carlos, I appreciate your taking the risk of showing your learning process. Honestly, this was one of the best videos--it's so helpful to see what someone who is newer to this, like myself, might run into and the solutions--and how adaptable you have to be. And, that even when it seems like disaster--there's often a fix! Also, so helpful to see that no matter how many videos you watch, the expertise is truly in the practice.
The finished product looks very good Carlos! You struggled a bit but you pulled through it, that's what counts! I give you so much credit for all the effort you put into it bcuz you REALLY tried hard.💯 Great job👍👍
