I actually have one dresser very similar and place the order and did it. Omg the transfer make me very nervous but I did it. Thank you so much kacha. anniesloan is lucky to have you.
Beautiful outcome. I wasn't sure how you were going to make this piece look good. I cant believe how gorgeous it came out. What talent. Just stunning. I love your personality. 👍🫶😄
I’m soooooo glad you left the “baking soda volcano” in your video!!! That was so funny and gave me a much needed belly laugh! I love u so much!! Your sweet personality and adorable laugh just makes my day every time I watch you! Keep on doing what you’re doing! The world needs you!
Definitely better painted. I’m 75 and have restored lots of antiques. The older I get the more I like antiques being given a beautiful bright update. Keep up the great work 💕💕💕💕
A marvelous job. Clearly, kacha has figured out the perfect formula for updating furniture. However, I don’t know how I feel about using that formula on solid antiques. It would have been nice to restore it back to its old glory. I still adore Kacha and it will be awesome to learn restoring techniques from her. I have already learned so much from her
I wish we were neighbors. My current neighbors are friends I garden with and share plants. Desperately seeking neighbor who shares a love of rescuing furniture and restoring or updating it. Thanks for the videos and the help .
Love Love Love! Your baking soda boil over was hilarious, I lost it when you said "what a mess".... Your to cute! Thank you for showing all the not so fun things you have to do in prepping. I will not shy away from chipping veneer after watching how you tackled it! You rock, you rocked this piece......Your the best!
This was exquisitely done - I particularly liked how the shape of the hardware matched the shape of the transfer you used - well brought together. Thank you as always for your warm and witty guidance through the process.
Greetings from Greece, my dear Kaćha, you always show to us the significant masterpieces you're transforming back to life, you are so artistic and professional! Love you so much and I'm glad I spend some time with you every week, you make me feel better. ❤❤❤
When I first saw this piece I said "no way". All I could imagine was weeks of sanding and replacing old veneer. It' takes a true artist to see beyond that. You don't paint furniture. You create wonderful works of art.
Kacha you are a gifted person. Your work is incredible, beautiful and amazing. You make the craftsmanship of an era new an timeless. I wish you all the best. Keep being the beautiful talented person you are. I truly admire your art.
I really do prefer it when you talk us through it. Because it's more like you older videos. Where we get to see your personality. Plus I love your accent. I have missed hearing it.
Its regal and royal and very European which I love and aspire to. Well done Kacha. Blue adores you, he never leaves your side. Bless him. Happy Easter xx
Beautiful job you did on the Empire chest of drawers! It's my favorite furniture style. The shape of the hardware goes really well with the applique, however, it's not the original hardware. Empire chests have large knobs, either wood or glass, that are shaped like doorknobs. Enjoy the way you bring pieces back to life with your bold color and design choices.
That was my immediate thought, that’s not the original hardware. However, I did find another similar dresser with this style of hardware, so now I’m not sure.
Oh my goodness that looks amazing. I nearly died when you put black wax on the lions but breathed again when you said you’d be using gold wax on the top. The old hardware really suits this piece - especially after you cleaned it up. Well done. Very inspiring. 💙💛
You can also use a heat gun to remove the veneer. I use the Wagner brand heat gun (digital one) & leave it on 650° - don't hold on one spot as you're heating wood/ veneer. It heats up the adhesive & comes off easier.
Thank you for another utterly delightful learning opportunity . Each time I watch one of your demos, I learn something new that's too important to neglect. You are a furniture artist gem.
All of these elements are perfect together!! The blue, the transfer, the moulds and of course the gold❤️❤️❤️ Oh and the baking soda volcano was pretty darn cool too😄 Awesome job Kacha👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
This is stunning! You chose the perfect color, and I'm glad you kept the original hardware cause they are solid brass and beautiful! the 70's version of those are metal but I still think they are cool, don't know why every furniture artists I watch never keep them, I love all of your videos and I am learning alot! Thank you!
Beautiful blue color and I love what you have done to that old dresser. I Loved it natural except for the broken and chipped pieces but I love you could save it's life and redo it all up to this beautiful useable dresser again. Love your choice of colors and texture.............just beautifully done! TY for sharing! Blessings
I don’t know about Napoleon but I’m proud of you. When I first saw that piece I thought “why bother”? But you certainly gave it a new lease on life! Just beautiful.
STUNNING, Kacha!! I love the blue with the gold and of course the black wax over top, giving it that depth. I’m so glad you ket the vinegar and baking soda eruption in your video. As soon as I watched you pouring it in the vinegar I was like “oh no! It’s going to bubble over!” Lol. But your adorable laugh and sweet attitude just made my night. Thx for another great piece and video!💛💙
Kacha, you’re so insightful with ideas, you forge ahead w/o hesitation. And results are the best it can get.( You are one of a kind, as don’t see another one that incorporates designs fitting the furnitures’ era.).
A moody regal piece! I can see the depth and feeling in it! I feel like it has a lot of secrets to tell on a stormy night by the fire in the room it resides! love this! (and I'm not a fan of blue so thats a huge compliment from me!)

Agreed! Beautiful!💙
This piece can stand proud again. It was way too beautiful to destroy. It hung around this long; we'll wish it another 170 years. 😉
Greetings from Greece, my dear Kaćha, you always show to us the significant masterpieces you're transforming back to life, you are so artistic and professional! Love you so much and I'm glad I spend some time with you every week, you make me feel better. ❤❤❤
Your appreciation for this old style makes perfection!!! Old hardware was a dramatic fit. Thank u for sharing so much of the hard work with us.....
It's gorgeous!! I would give it the name: "The Royal Dresser"
Simplemente.... Exquisito!!!! ❤
It's very good that you saved and used original hardware. Antique furniture requires respect.
Just gorgeous! The molds that you made added such great detail! And the black wax and the gold touches are perfection!
When I look at the after pictures I can see your joyful work come to life. This piece is so happy to look at.
This was the best transformation I've seen yet. So much damage and you made it come back to life. Thank you
When I first saw this piece I said "no way". All I could imagine was weeks of sanding and replacing old veneer. It' takes a true artist to see beyond that. You don't paint furniture. You create wonderful works of art.
