Your Alaska cabin episodes are, without a doubt, my favorite episodes of any hunting program. I will rewatch these for the rest of my days. To me, these are on the same caliber of enjoyment as the Dick Proennekke videos. Thank you.
I can't get enough of them. I want a place like this to do what he does in these episodes. Get away from the everyday agony of 40-plus hour work weeks and the grocery store.
There is something oddly enjoying about watching 2 fully grown men with rifles and big stupid smiles on their faces watch a deer wander away without shooting it. They may be in that magical place to hunt but you can tell they’re actually there for a great experience. Love it. Great episode.
Rinella is THE premier story teller of our modern era. Rates right up to Ruark, O'Connor, Jobson, and for just outdoor adventures, as good as Hemmingway without the angst. If you have yet to read his books, please do ASAP. Good stuff, for sure.
I love these two talking and hunting and fishing together. It just seems like what the country needs. (I am a relatively East coast liberal professor-type who is a fisherman, and loves to cook. I love the conversation at the end of the cook about open mindedness and learning from one another and the contexts from which we operates.) As always, excellent stuff.
As a lifelong hunter I can appreciate Steve because he shows an fairly honest experience out in the woods. Growing up in the Pacific northwest the stories he shows are somewhat everyday type occurrences. Sometimes my buddies will say he shot a small buck or caribou and I usually just refer them back to the name of the program "Meat Eater"...He didn't name it "Horn Eater" or "Trophy Hunter" for a reason.
I appreciate being able to watch the processing part of the hunt too. Too many channels skip this part due to stupid TH-cam rules and such. Thank you for that. It can be very informative!
I love the fact how gracious he is to be given this opportunity. I truly wish I had more time to explore and hunt. I live vicariously through this channel. Such an awesome experience.
Some of my most memorable feasts were under a canvas tent supported by a portable garage frame in the middle of the Huron National Forest in Northern Michigan. Deer Camp. Mio, Fairview, and Barton City.
Im a hunter too but apart from hunting watching your video of cooking that liver and back strap made me so hungry that I have to order some food straight away . Good job keep it up boys.
Im not much of a traveller but if i were to go into the northern hemisphere, alaska is definitely top of the list. Reminds me of my favourite place in the world, Marlborough sounds, New Zealand.
What a wholesome episode. I liked every bit of it. This could have easily been 20 minutes longer if the whole fishing part was included with more detail. Thank you!
Racking my brain trying to remember where I saw this guy. He must have the patience of a saint as he worked under Bourdain during the later series of Parts Unknown when Asia Argento was sniffing around making Tony miserable. Trekking in Alaska with Steve must be heaven in comparison
Food like that tastes so good because of what I call "Situational Seasoning". Some of the best meals I've ever had were in the field and when I make the exact same dish with the exact same ingredients at home, it's never as good.
Watching this makes me wish I could discover the outdoors all over again but you only get to do it once. Ironically I have not been across the puddle to Seattle in over a decade and could spend the rest of my days not.
Like watching your videos, I love watching your videos. There’s something about how u guys film and articulate your videos which makes them so good. Personally I think this video explains it in a nut shell. Your colleague didn’t even hut, now he gets it and has changed his world. That in itself says it all. The only thing that could improve this would be to hut with Remi Warren more. But then again I thinks that what makes u to guys so good. You think the same articulate very similar but different. If that makes any sense. Keep up the great work meat eater team. 👍
Luv watching meat eater one can learn alot from the adventures some of my exciting moments the kill, those that get away or that fight back at the hunter I mean meat eater himself, quickies I mean grilling right after a harvest just inches away and then what Steve says about his experience he takes away from the show he's a genius ooh wait maybe I smoke too much 😂😂😂
Can you do a bass fishing episode? Or if you dont eat bass atleast a crappie fishing episode, love your show man and love bass fishing so those two together would be awesome
I ❤ your show hunting is one of the out door things I ❤ too do fishing is the only thy I have going for me these days because where I am from we don't have the expanse of your beautiful land county doing what you are
Huge fan of Steve and his hunting cohort. How is he able to shoot . . .OK graphically kill game on camera when so many other TH-cam hunters get cancelled for showing a pig, etc. being killed?
Can someone tell me…they were eating that shrimp w/o any cooking? I know there are a couple prawns that can be eaten raw just wasn’t sure if that was what was going on here.
Hey Steven and Moe,I love your intro, I remember that day with Moose charge😳! Thanks for the Fabulous Photography Moe ,you might have been there for the charge,if so 🫢. 💥YES, great shot! Enjoy the fruits of your labor 😍. JO JO IN VT 💞

Couldn’t agree more
I 10000% agree. life goal is to get a cabin in Alaska like he has. love these episodes.
Agree, every time he catches shrimp it makes my mouth water
I can't get enough of them. I want a place like this to do what he does in these episodes. Get away from the everyday agony of 40-plus hour work weeks and the grocery store.

My only issue with his books is there aren’t enough of them!
Morgan just seems so happy to be there, and so positive, like a kid... wholesome content
"I wouldn't do it if it wasn't fun and it didn't make food" you took the words right out of my mouth. Best way to live.
"...the pathetic hum of an empty freezer." Verbal gold.
Until you think about it for two seconds~
If the freezer was empty you would turn it off to save power.
“Pathetic hum of an empty freezer” resonates.
real lol even with 2 moose a pronghorn and a mule my freezers still running low...

I was on Prince of Wales in the late 70's thinning trees. Thanks for the memories
I appreciate being able to watch the processing part of the hunt too. Too many channels skip this part due to stupid TH-cam rules and such. Thank you for that. It can be very informative!
Seen it half a dozen times and I'm not upset about watching again
I believe the respect that these two have for one another is what got them that deer.... such a great episode!!!
Florida forest dweller here....always a good time listening to Steve on hunts.
Always a good day with mo' Mo!!
I love the fact how gracious he is to be given this opportunity. I truly wish I had more time to explore and hunt. I live vicariously through this channel. Such an awesome experience.
My favorite season…and episode…I watch and rewatch dozens of times. 😏🥾🥾⛺️😎
This show is such an amazing thing, a huge reason I started hunting because of it and just as so many other its been life changing
Thank you for pursuing our wildlife with respect
Some of my most memorable feasts were under a canvas tent supported by a portable garage frame in the middle of the Huron National Forest in Northern Michigan. Deer Camp. Mio, Fairview, and Barton City.
I'm a huge fan of the channel, I have all the knives. shirt and bone. .and Thank God it's back on Netflix. thank you 🙏👏👏👏
Always a pleasure when Steve is involved
So awesome as a South African; I can relate being in the bush hunting and fishing and enjoying some of the quarry with close friends.
Im a hunter too but apart from hunting watching your video of cooking that liver and back strap made me so hungry that I have to order some food straight away . Good job keep it up boys.
I'm so glad that I discovered meateater and I'm appreciative of your program

Sensacional esse episódio, a melhor série que já assisti, esse fígado na manteiga e cebola é uma delícia.

We LOVE IT, KEEP DOING WHAT YOU ARE DOING.
Racking my brain trying to remember where I saw this guy. He must have the patience of a saint as he worked under Bourdain during the later series of Parts Unknown when Asia Argento was sniffing around making Tony miserable. Trekking in Alaska with Steve must be heaven in comparison
Awesome video guys thank you for sharing your experiences 😊
What a wonderful episode. Save some of that fish for me!
Love this show. Steve you need to get Kevin Murphy out there ASAP. I would love to see him on any episode coming soon
Food like that tastes so good because of what I call "Situational Seasoning". Some of the best meals I've ever had were in the field and when I make the exact same dish with the exact same ingredients at home, it's never as good.
Yesssssss cabin episode!!!! 👍👍👍
Great episode. Plus a great lesson on noy being closed minded,
Why is a GoHunt commercial coming up when I watched Meateater?
Meateater should know!
This was one of my favorites!
Brother I love the show I’m from Eastern Kentucky was raised up being a meat eater.
Great episode! And the music was great too
Just doesn't get any better than this 😊
Watching this makes me wish I could discover the outdoors all over again but you only get to do it once. Ironically I have not been across the puddle to Seattle in over a decade and could spend the rest of my days not.
Being diabetic ,doctor told me to eat only wild game. The meat is soooo lean and good for us!!!

Very genuine..nice work guys
Amazing episode!!
Man i cant wait for hunting season!!! Just finished eating some slow cooked deer and im almost out!!
Man it would be hard to leave the water while staying at that cabin... that place is amazazing
Steve goes to such dense, way off-off-the-grid forests that I will not believe Big Foot exist until he sees one.
Mannnn I just want new seasons on Netflix these weekly episodes are edging me…
There are no better projects than past meat eater episodes btw
Luv watching meat eater one can learn alot from the adventures some of my exciting moments the kill, those that get away or that fight back at the hunter I mean meat eater himself, quickies I mean grilling right after a harvest just inches away and then what Steve says about his experience he takes away from the show he's a genius ooh wait maybe I smoke too much 😂😂😂
I wish I knew someone like Steve that could teach me to hunt.
Can you do a bass fishing episode? Or if you dont eat bass atleast a crappie fishing episode, love your show man and love bass fishing so those two together would be awesome
Great segment.
We need hundreds of episodes of just south east Alaska.

I ❤ your show hunting is one of the out door things I ❤ too do fishing is the only thy I have going for me these days because where I am from we don't have the expanse of your beautiful land county doing what you are

man i would kill to go there
I was looking for the Prince of Wales person, not place. Thought this will be an interesting one.
You know border patrol is in a bad spot when they sponsor TH-camrs
Hey Steven and Moe,I love your intro, I remember that day with Moose charge😳!
Thanks for the Fabulous Photography Moe ,you might have been there for the charge,if so 🫢.
💥YES, great shot!
Enjoy the fruits of your labor 😍.
JO JO IN VT 💞
When was this filmed? As of now you can’t keep yellow eyes or quillbacks
Steve was so excited he ate his fork
Haven't I watched this episode before?
Certain older Netflix series are able to be uploaded to TH-cam now from the back catalogue
