I think it’s worth noting the X-t50 is perfect for a certain group of people. If you want something with the portability of the X100IV, but with the flexibility of multiple lenses, the x-t50 is perfect. Considering it has the same 40mp sensor, autofocus, ibis, and processor as the X-t5, and essentially the same image results, the fact that there are a few compromises (card slot, battery, WR) seems reasonable. I can use the 27mm f2.8 as a daily and keep it in my jacket pocket (I tried this with the XT5 and it didn’t work, and felt much bulkier), but still the x-t50 is comfortable to use and powerful with a larger lens like the 50-140mm f2.8, and gets the same professional level results as the x-t5 For a lot of people it would be worthy just get the X-t5, but for those who value both size and image quality (I will use a smaller camera more often, and travel a lot) then the x-t50 makes a lot of sense. For these people, I’d definitely say try them both out in a camera store or rent them, I didnt think there would be much difference but I changed my mind pretty quickly)
Hello, thank you so much for this video it was really useful! :) I'm looking for a new camera for street photo, I'm still hesitating between XE4 (because it's smaller and more discrete) or XT30 ii. It's mainly for photos and a bit for videos. Which one would you recommend?
Personally, I would prefer X-T30 II because X-E4 seems like a very uncomfortable camera to hold on a daily basis. If you have such option, I’d suggest trying it out somewhere - maybe it works for you. Specs- and image quality-wise they seem to be identical.
@@shotbytwentyseven Thank you for your answer :) Do you know if it exists such a compact camera like X-E4 but more comfortable to carry around? (not interested in the XM5 because of the lack of viewfinder) Or X-T30 II is already compact and discrete enough for street photo?
X-H2 over the X-H2S? I never really knew the difference between the 40mp and the 28mp stacked. If the X-H2 > X-H2S, what is better between the X-H2S and X-T5?
I thought about mentioning X-H2S in the video, but ultimately decided to only put X-H2 because the differences in them are very specific and it would be difficult to explain in a short video that tries to cover every budget. I think the choice between H2 and H2S comes down to personal preference: do you need high-res or faster processing in your work. As for the X-T5, I would buy H2S over X-T5 if price was out of the question.

with the right lens it is pretty compact, yes

for image quality who is better xt30 II or xm5?
Not much difference quality-wise, it’s more about about body and viewfinder
