in the video it legit tells you how long he went to jail for, only a year and 2 months... 425 days... 60 years would be if he killed someone in the crash
I’d just take it, even if life is stressful and situations are bad. At least I’m getting out in a little bit. Lesson is definitely learned. Turns out he thought he was going in for 3 months! That’s MERCY!!!!!!! We black folks don’t get that kind of mercy just for petty theft!

I love how with Israel Pointer that one officer was already on the floor only for him to be captured by a bunch of lawyers. I hope the other inmates make fun of him for that.
If you see court staff bailiffs stop a chase when the person leaves the property, it's because they aren't allowed to chase past property lines. It's for the safety of the officers and the public. The normal police force will be called and set up a perimeter to try and find the person.
because they are not convicted yet. They are not criminals until proven otherwise, and you can't treat them as such. Also, in some cases where a jury is involved, having a defendant in prison clothes and all tied up influences them and their verdict
Moral of the story: trying to escape from a courthouse is a very bonehead move. Notice how most of these people are lucky to even make it past two days. People don’t realize that going on the run means no going back home, no hiding with friends/family, no going back to places you frequent. Unless you’re comfortable with basically starting from scratch completely off the grid, you’re *going* to get caught so you might as well just do the time or be ready to do the time and then some.
5:12 you have no idea how happy i am that the officer is ok and i hope he got both an A+ for effort and a raise but i just have to ask: was it worth it?
