Zeno destroying the future timeline created the perfect opportunity for Future Trunks to become a permanent member of the cast, but instead they decided to send him to another timeline where there's another him. 🙄
Trunks not only cutting Frieza in half but also cutting him up into pieces and the blasting those pieces into smithereens is what made him my favorite character because it showed he took no chances when it came to villains, he made sure there was no way for Frieza to be patched back up (even tho Ressurection F found a BS way around it to bring him back)
I wish they had let him stay in the past, although I want to know what a world with 2 future trunks looks like. They would probably become their worlds last hope and become powerful together

So i watched dragon ball super yesterday, that episode where krillin and goku are in that creepy forest and fight their old enemies and i thought "why don't they do a fusion" but i don't know if they can, does somebody know?
@00:45 Very much excuse me, but weaker can only apply to Gohan, Trunks of the Future, whether you love GT, Super, or only the End of Z as your end source material, Future Trunks is VASTLY stronger, present Trunks is only even relevant because of Gotenks, which he is only half of. Gohan, yes, not by much Base form to Base form by the time the Elder Kai is released, people do tend to forget, that present Gohan though weaker not long before hand, was able to handle easily, the Z sword, which Goku could only wield with the effectiveness of a backwards Baseball bat. Th Gohan at EOZ, before that horrendous retcon (both in GT and Super), was in Mystic state as his new base, with no transforming available or needed, as can be seen in the Hirudigarn movie.
I guess your right but he’s only weak in that sense because he has no back up or anybody to train with it’s literally just him. While the other timeline they all lean on each other at all times. Without vegeta or gohan or even piccolo, goku wouldn’t be the goku we know he would be far weaker and more than likely dead alonggggg time ago
