i build them in the reno and tahoe area and have code req. anywhere from 30# to 60# snow loads with no problems. the materials are all extruded aluminum , beams, louvers and posts. these are not the .040 or .042 ga roll formed covers that amerimax also offers and even those built to current codes here are 130 mph 30# capable. i even saw a picture of one cover still standing after the camp fire in cali. house destroyed cover intact.not the ideal way to show quality but there it is. my prayers go out to all the victims of that disaster.

How does it hold up to snow, heavy wet snow, Ice storms, and hail? One guy in CA says it can hold up to a 50 yr storm and regional tailored.

@@bw4947mine has worked great. Both times I had a repair issue, it was completely covered by the installer.
