The idea is to allow fish to be brought to shore, cleaned, brought straight to the outside kitchen, then plated. I love the idea of being able to incorporate water and fire into my backyard so those were most attractive for me to see. One consideration you may be able to add to your videos is how your climate may effect any design showcased, like your in portland but if someone is in a snowy state how would you alter the designs for cold and heat extremes or what to keep in mind before putting a water feature in. Great video, but not everybody has 100k to throw down on outdoor spaces. Can you also show options for the common person's budget? I'm getting ready to build my own house, and I'm researching outdoor living space ideas. But I will never sink this kind of money into it. I need scaled down options without all the stone and 10x10 post and beam construction!

Gorgeous designs. A video that could be put into the works is talking about what size of structure would go well to the size of the backyard. Some people (me for example) have regular size backyards and are confused with what size of structure to go with To where it does not consume the entire backyard.
I have a detached patio and we dont use it as much. In my new home, we have an attached structure next to the dining room with direct access to the kitchen and we are there all the time.
I would love some to come and view my backyard to give me the best setup possible. I’m from Cali and want more of an oasis look. Currently it’s more forestry lolol

Some wonderful designs unfortunately in the UK we don't have the same weather as the USA and certainly not the amount of sunny days of the southern states, so the designs will need to be adopted to cater for winds and rains, (that why the UK country side is so green ! haha) but some fabulous ideas nevertheless.
Only places are like Cali and Florida with year-around great weather…other places like Texas or Maine either gets too hot outside to enjoy in the summer, and too cold in the winter. You might get 5 or 6 months of use…it’s just like a swimming pool

Hello, i was wanting to concrete my whole backyard however I'm liking the stone pavers. Maybe it would look nicer with those. Would it withstand as good as concrete though?
Pavers are much longer lasting then concrete. They are individually stronger being on average 9000psi vrs concrete at 3000 psi. I hope that answers your question?? Have a wonderful day

Fantastic suggestions here! One word of advise: check your local bylaws before starting such a project; in my case an attached patio falls under the allowed house projections toward the neighbors and anything significant would not meet the bylaw. Makes no sense as a detached design encroaches a lot more on the neighbors but the minds of our elected officials works sometimes in a mysterious way...

I have a beautiful city view, two story house with 40’ x 120’ flat area on top of a hill with a 45 degree slope. Beautiful ideas for outdoor spaces! How about mosquitos? We have a great yard but those biting mosquitoes keep us running indoors.
Cutter backyard bug control. Spray it over the entire backyard and do it at the break of dawn and you will not have any mosquitoes.
Move where they don't have biting mosquitoes.

Yep. That should be fine. That size will need engineering but 4 post for a 20x20 is totally doable

We do not give pricing on this channel as our viewers are from all over the world and there are different prices in different places. You can imagine how difficult it would be to give a general idea of typical pricing. We'd then spend countless hours discussing variables to each price/design. You have some nice ideas and I like all of them except having a TV outdoors. I hate Television with a passion. I go outside to get away from the world not have a TV there reminding me why I went outside.

Get a Covered Structure. I live in Portland Oregon. We get lots of rain but we are still using our space rain or shine. Hope that helps
