Sorry for the loss of your brother. Great job with the DAW. I Love music but cant play. I think this may be the right software to start with. What do you think? FL studio that I have I cant separate the vocals or instruments that I know of.

Many people do not think about how AI generates music. AI does NOT work in linear Tracks. There os no "Bass" Track, there is no "Drum Track" The only thing it knows are the combination of the freequencies in 44100 moments in a second.
Its ike a move set: When a Song is a building, the floors are the instrument tracks. But AI Music just give you the illusion. Abd because of this, the splitting of AI music does never work like splitting a "normal" recording. Even when, lets say, there is a loud Guitar Solo, drums are still played even if you cant hear some hihats in this moment.. But with AI music: What you cant hear is not there.
But when AI music start to work linear...or another AI process "restores" the musik like it would have been played traditionally...we got perfect tracks..

@chillwalker well this is never going to be a perfect track it's being used as a tool to restore tracks that can't be redone because the person who performed it has passed away.

i have a very old song that i taped on VHS in 1980s. do you think the ripx can upgrade the quality reduce the noise etc ?

It could probably do it. I would grab the free demo and check for yourself. If you want you can send me a snip of the music and I can see what restoration software works best on it. I own almost all the Restoration suites out right now

It's not very clear from the video, but it sounds like you imported the final mix in the RipX. And the program of course can separate the vocal and the guitar but it's not ideal since there are overlapping frequencies at similar volume intensities.
But what if you would import the separate tracks only ? RipX would have to do way less work to separate the frequencies/instruments/stems and the result would be probably much clear ?

I imported individual tracks. They had massive amounts of bleed
