- I thought this was pretty awesome, so I thought I'd share it. Also, I'm using the Blades of Toledo and the Elite Sails/Wheel if you were thinking about splurging U-Play points on them. Enjoy.

I know, they think they can take on a brig for some reason. I just let them know what I think, just wish you could summon your fleet or even take a ship and upgrade it and sail it around.

To be honest this happens all the time for me, especially in the Hard areas, I see huge British fleets and huge Spanish fleets fighting each other.ica
Near the coast of west Jamaica, I saw possibly the longest battle ever for like 20 minutes freaking British and Spanish ships were fighting and more and more were joining in and shit. And tbe final result was an entire fleet of Brigs and a frigate left. The rest were sunk.
Literally after that I sunk the brigs and I chased the frigate towards Southern Cuba until I sunk him.
Yeah man, this game is so much fun!

What I loved about the naval battles in this was e progression and getting your ship upgraded to the point where you could have like 10 man o’ wars on you at once but wreck them all in 2 mins tops. Thinking about buying this game again because it’s that damn good

Let's see, a small sized pirate Brig sinks an entire fleet of British and Spanish fleets.
Strong navies my ass, the Jackdaw can sink about any ship!
That is impossible, a lightning bolt must have destroyed the ship or the Spanish must of had help.
3 British ships: HMS Dove (frigate), HMS Rose (man o' war) and HMS Speedwell (man o' war)
3 Spanish ships: Santa Rosa (gunboat), Hermione (frigate) and Principe de Asturias (man o' war)
It would be nice if the Hollander (after finishing the Final Contract [side mission]) and 1 or 2 random ally ship/s (gunboat/schooner/brig) are joining the naval battle as well.
when your "Jackdaw" is maxed you will almost become a Man O War killer/legendary killer
this happens alot,just go to Kingston and wait outside you may find 5 man o wars fighting garrented

Look at all these big ships and out of no where a small little gunboat joins in and is like "man this ain't nothing, I got this".
Battles in this game are very ambitious. The biggest I've seen was 6 man of war, 4 frigates, and 3 Brigs fighting it out. I got bored of watching so I joined in and sunk a few of them, then more started to join in which made it a lot better
God I love it when more and more keep coming I really can’t help but join in when it gets so big because I’m like well hell I could be in that fight.
And yes I realized that didn’t exactly sound how I meant it to.

@@noahvalenzuela7597 no the English won. Actually at first there was one English Man O’ war and a few English ships attacking a Spanish Frigate. Then the Spanish Man O’ war showed up but so did another English one. Then the third showed up and after destroying the Frigate all three turned their attention to the Spanish Man O’ war.
Technically one was already fighting it but the other two showed up and then it was just a massacre. And I just watched from the Jackdaw not wanting to get involved. Because that is terrifying, I felt sorry for the Spanish.
I always fire specific on British or Spanish ships, but never on both nations at the same time. A this way, i don't have to fight with both fleets on the same time.
I never really understood why the Spanish and British fight in this game. The story makes a pretty big deal out of the war between Britain and Spain ending, putting privateers out of work and causing them to turn to piracy. The war still seems to be going strong though :D
JakVM999 While the war officially ended the hatred and tension was still very strong and both Spain and Britain felt they were the superior power and both still tried to prove it, war or no, same with france.

You should see this, when i sailed to one of the legendary ship, i saw 2 British man-or- wars, 2 gunboats and one brig agents one Spanish man ore war, 2 level 38 fighters and 2 brigs, the battle was like 25 minutes long 👍

I see alot of people play this game and I don't think most of them realize if you hold the left trigger longer it groups up your shots and does more damage
Whenever I sail around Jamaica area I always see loads of Spanish and British Galleons fighting right where Kingston is I usually just leave the fight as it is and hunt for man o wars because I love those ships so much however when I saw that battle I was like these battles just happen so randomly that it is unexpected
I once got a fight where there was 9 man o wars,17 frigates distributed randomly with 4 pirate brigs and I went right in and decimated both sides but also got beat aswell. The end was the british lasted the longest and I made it with a sliver of my last HP bar. I had no heavy shot or mortars after the fight. I also once got a glitch where 3 british men o war spawned as I entered the el Impluto fight and fought the el Impluto they fought with me I fired at the el Impluto and they ignored me...I owned the el empluto and since I got the charge ram I fucked the one remaining man o war...I guess the british hate the spanish more than pirates. I also saw a levle 25 british brig singley kill a lv.36 spanish man o war by ramming It in a storm into a water spout and then sinking it by ramming it again for some reason...That ain't in the AI. But it was made by ubisoft and just like monolith things go wrong when a game is made by them. But the most bruh thing I saw was a levle 6 SPANISH gunboat destroy a levle 49 SPANISH MAN O WAR IT SUNK ITS OWN ALLY. JUST TO HIT ME SINCE THE MAN O WAR HAD VERY LITTLE HP LEFT...Talk about friendly fire. And the man o war killed the gunboat to at the same time they killed eachother and hit me in the process. Ubisoft...fix the AI. Mine is broken and the game obeys itself and the enemies do what ever they act like me sailing. Even seen a man o war ram a brig head on...and fucked it up. Ubisoft AI is chaos the same for breathsda (not how you spell it) and monolith...AI DOES NOT OBEY.
I always loved slamming right in the middle of it and letting off both sides of my ships guns

I lucked out doing this today - two man o wars started destroying each other and eventually they both fled... I chased and cleaned up the rest! Two man o wars for the price of maybe a frigate or a brig.
Well guys if ever want to see the fight between british and Spain just capture a fort in the south part and you can fight there

I tried to help out one side by defeating the ships but dont use mortars they may hit a english or spanish ship and you got yourself getting bomobarded by both factions

And the War of Quadruple Alliance broke out in 1717. So why the Royal Navy and the Royal Spanish Navy still fighting against each other in 1715 in Caribbean?

notfromphoenix that is a shame. i like the game but the fighting combat controls feel a little weird, they are not tight and there are some weird limitations such as not being able to swim below water., etc.
test drive Ship fighting or on foot fighting? If it's on foot combat, they don't really need to be tight when it's basically counter, riposte, then wipe out entire battalions by chaining kills. If it's ship combat, I actually thought it was pretty tight and responsive. AC 3's ship combat was really bad though. Also, you can go diving later on, but it's only in specific zones, sadly.
the only online ships are convoys discovered by barkeepers or ones that randomly spawn
and other ppl who play ac4 and is online will also have the ability to destroy the convoy

В их непосредственной видимости (да блин, внутри их строя) появляется судно ниже классом с пиратским флагом. Обе стороны конфликта - ноль внимания. Да в реальности они сначала бы бриг этот ушатали, повесили выживших на мачтах, а потом уже дальше друг-другу рожу чистили, потому что в отличие от спорных отношений между державами, пираты были врагами любой нации. Эдвард - не капер, напоминаю. Судно, согласно документам и более ранней принадлежности - украдено. А, всем по барабану. Плавает себе пират и хрен бы с ним.

I personally have had minimal problems with it and would recommend it, but I would do some personal research to see which device would be good for you. There's certainly nothing wrong with the Elgato.

Yes, they do. When you explore islands you'll find British or Spanish camps, when they're fighting on foot you can see Spanish and British ships fighting in the sea.

This is 360. One thing I need to say is that the video quality is a little murky compared to the raw recording because of issues with editing software, i.e. not having proper Vegas render settings and Movie Maker being shit.

I'm leaving my Ship in this armor upgrade because I dont like the look of it when its upgraded. All that metall its just unralistic for an ship of the 18. century you know. I just want this wooden look plus its a better challenge to fight a man o war like this.
My ship is fully upgraded and it's really powerful and stuff.
I still really like the look of it, the metal doesn't bother me.
