Yeah I agree that final scene is heartbreaking, but it also shows how you've been through so much throughout the story and met so many characters

It would be cool if they had Portuguese in free roam and also the enemy pirates as well (outside of the pirate hunters who only go after you) so we could have at least had some variation to these fights but ah well. At least you can get pirates to fight British or Spanish in some of the assassin contracts

The large Spanish naval flags are seen in red and yellow, and the flag they used was the one you say.
In addition to the uniforms and the ships, the Spanish figurehead, which wasn't a woman with the coat of arms of Castile, but rather the Spanish ships carried stylized lions (for the Hispanic lion, an animal traditionally symbol of Spain really, and not the bull as it's usually believed)

I guess I thought they were cool because the Portuguese and the French do not really get as much attention as the English and Spanish. I also like the French and Portuguese uniforms better too.

I mean, it's simple. Just paint the existing uniforms in different colours, pay someone to do voice acting and there you go! But ubisoft didn't do that, i guess.

It would have been nice to add the Portuguese, French, and even Dutch in the game.
About the uniforms it doesn't matter either, the game sins of some historical errors and anachronisms. For example, the Spanish army in the 16th century had different uniforms depending on the regiment, white coats predominated, varying the color of the cuffs of the sleeves or the collar of the coat. Or also a blue jacket and red sleeve cuffs
