I try to wear all my clothes. I wore a cocktail dress (light pink) to go feed my sister’s chickens. 😂 I think I deserve to feel great every day so I just wear my gala clothes for whatever occasion I can think off.
That thing you said "Always wear your best" is the hardest part forme.I am always saving my favorite clothes for something special and I end up wearing the same over and over...
My excuse for not investing in my style is my job where I work from home and don't attend meetings. So I just sit here all day and basically let my wardrobe go. Let myself go. I deserve the attention to myself, even if I wake up at 5:30AM. Or if I don't want to wear the "nice clothes" during the work day then I deserve to dress up a bit in the afternoon. So long as we are not cooking that night😅 I really need one of those aprons with sleeves!
I think the issue is you are seeing your wardrobe as something for other people, when you should see it as something for you. Work on creating an artistry and beauty in your life for YOU. Then it’s easy to take yourself on dates and find daily joy. 💙
Love how free you are and as an art teacher. Yes. Still an art teacher for blew 19 years you give me the joy to watch someone who can speak their mind and be free. Thank you.
So many important pieces of advice, perfectly expressed. I'm sure a LOT of people will feel as directly spoken to as I do, so thanks!!! Also, Gary's lil snoot!😍
I need to figure out work from home clothes. I wear matching sweatsuits in colors I like - which does the job but it’s not exactly “style”. All my stylish clothes stay in the closet and never get worn bc I don’t have a very social life
Well no, that’s a style. You just need to define the boundaries. I’m not advocating for everyone doing minimal aesthetic. My course gives you space to find that. 💙
Hey Patricia! Long time viewer, absolutely love your content and it has helped me so much. However, I continue to find the greatest disappointment in carefully curating my wardrobe is I work a 9-5 where I must wear a uniform/scrubs. I love working in medical setting, but it really takes away from me being able to dress my best on the daily. Do you have any thoughts on this issue?
@tierapalmisano6529 As you've used the words 'dress my best on the daily' here, I'm guessing that you already take care with the other areas of your appearance. I'm not a health worker - but can say that clients and patients DO notice. They notice your hairstyle, if your makeup looks fresh, any jewellery if you're permitted to wear it. Even your fragrance is noticed. Actually, now you've just reminded me. A few years back I read a post from a woman who has her scrubs altered to fit better. Tailored a little, if you like. She said it made the world of difference to how she felt while working.
Wow haven't watched your videos in a while, you look completely different now 😮 What happened to earthtones - never black -natural hair Patricia? I don't seem to recognise you 😅 Not saying the new style is bad, only that it's not what i expected to see
Wearing your best every day when you're a hands on parent or work with kids, animals and outdoors is laughable. I have 57 clothes (excluding foundation and sleepwear) and 8 pairs of shoes. 70% of my clothes is casual, 20% smart dress and 10% for formal events. If everything is special then nothing is. It would be ridiculous of me to wear my 10% for a regular day of raising a family, living an ordinary lifestyle. As for a colour palette, generally what colours you wear will be the colours in your home interior. If your wardrobe is neutral (work uniform is the exception) most likely your home interior style is neutral. If your wardrobe has a range of colours and patterns, most likely your home interior corresponds. Every colour can be worn as a bottom piece of clothing. The identifier is the undertone of a colour next to your face. Bearing in mind you can manipulate undertones by dyed hair, make up, contact lenses etc.

@@patriciamycyk You may have a point there. I appreciate that insight!
This came at the perfect time. My wardrobe doesn't speak to me anymore. Thanks, Patricia ✨✨
💙💙💙
OMG this video is just what I need today. All week long I have been planning to declutter and reassess my wardrobe
You got this! 💙
Thank you for this video! I totally agree - there is a connection between the state of one's wardrobe and the way they feel about themselves.

One of your most informative postings for wardrobe curation Patricia, thank you.

Yay! Sir Gary! 😻 My problem is that I love clothes, colors, & I have an eclectic style. I can't seem to narrow it down.

A lot of this sounds like some good advice about my wardrobe AND my relationships. Gotta do that seasonal declutter!
Of course. In wardrobe as in life. These little aspects of our personas are merely reflections of our core psyche. They are the tip of the iceberg. 💙
Gary has such pretty colors. I have a very small wardrobe right now. It is hard to overcome the shopping aversion I have in order to find new pieces.
Yes he does! People miss his little peach coloured bits. 🥹
LOADS OF LOVE TO YOU! THANK YOU FOR THE WONDERFUL CONTENT!
You are so welcome! 💙
You look so beautiful Patricia! 💕
Oh thank you! 💙
Thanks Patricia ❤️🇦🇺
I love your black top with the frill detail! Where is it from Patricia? 🙏
