We see later in the comic that there’s a scene of the planet-powered Vader and Emperor Palpatine fighting for a prolonged period, allowing time for Kitster and the others to escape. We didn’t see most of the fight, but it definitely happened. Palpatine allowed Vader to fight him with all that power, but it still wasn’t enough, and that was the whole point. No matter how much power Vader obtains, it can never match up to the bottomless well of pure darkness that is Darth Sidious. The Emperor’s power level is beyond that of even a planet.

Let me tell you all what happened I was almost fooled that this was part of palaptines plan but think about it if it was would palaptine risk an attack on exegol Vader destroyed a large part of his plan which is why his fleet is partly Imobile in rise of skywalker general pryde was always loyal to Vader just like he was loyal to palpatien everthimg he did in this comic the things he said was because palaptine was in front of him sly Moore looked scared because she did not want to look like afool but she was conspiring on palpatine ochi is dumb because he never realized that that is why sly Moore never was dumb enough to insult Vader cause she was fooled all last comics she repeatedly said she wanted to take over she was simply manipulated to hating sidios to creat the schism but palaptine never expected for the group to be this powerful palaptine also made a joke about it because he wants to mock Vader and act like this was all part of his plan because he was sopissed Vader did not unleash his anger to kill him just look at palptien and how happy he gets when Vader is getting his power he wants Vader to stoke him down in anger because then he will have succeed in corrupting Vaders soul but once Vader refused and kneeled instead palaptien then decided Vader needed to be gone thus return of the Jedi
