Yessss its building up great!!! The Krakoa age shouldnt go NOWHERE but just plant those foundations and carry on to more. The Arrakii mutants mixed with krakoa mutants must keep what they built to solidify their power and dominance to stay alive! …and then move on to other crazy stuff 😅 i mean foreal…
so many status quos have changed…we cant go back😅 Plus I wana see everybody full potential including Krakoas becuz Arakko said he was soft 😂
I hope they let Krokoa fall & keep Arokko as the real battle hardened space defense / extra dimensional team.

good issue....im only a little irked that all these issues and we never saw magneto's iconic shield and a few panels of polaris and she is using it..also lol at nimrod getting wrecked by krakoa...

Waiting on Rasputin's play, i have been saying they should have dealt with Nimrod for ages now but we shall see.
Omega sentinel just biding her time, cant wait to see if they show her betraying Dr Gregor finally.
im thinking the key here to turn back perception on the mutants as well as not completely lose face for all the humans who got involved either directly or indirectly from accepting the orchis propaganda is to lay blame on just the machine's AI going rogue.

I hope we get to see the Brood unleashed on Orchis and they slaughter them into by laying eggs in all of them. Marvel should give us a story where the Brood fight against the Xenomorphs from the Aliens series with the X-Men helping the Brood. Or the Brood vs Predator would be a cool story.
Nope, the Xenomorphs are from another franchise (Fox Studios), so they can't use them when the Brood are a stand-in/analogy for the Xenomorphs!
@MatthewLoh-ru1mw Other franchises have crossed over multiple times in the past. The Predator recently crossed over with the X-Men and Predator had crossovers with the Xenomorphs on multiple occasions. Heck! Godzilla crossed over into DC recently.
@@vginsprdsobepr9698 the Predator / Wolverine crossover is a Non-Canon one and does not count. In fact, Predator also hasn't shown up or even mentioned in current Marvel continuity...

Non-canon doesn’t matter, those are still crossover events as I’ve stayed. Also, as of yet nobody has stated that those events are non-canon. The Predator vs Wolverine hasn’t been confirmed to have taken place in an alternate universe while DC is ALL about multiple universes so the Godzilla crossover in canon since they no longer have a primary universe.

Me too. I strongly suspect Sinister is the one influencing Xavier to call Rasputin over since she was created by his future self in "Sins of Sinister", and may have some scheme or plan to fight against Orchis

Indeed. In one of the future issue covers, we see a hand holding a mutant gene disabling gun pointed at Moira at that bench first seen in HOX/POX

Love krakoa getting shine
I guess its great that some people enjoyed it. But, I definitely did not. The Krakoa era Xmen was the worse they’ve been. It started out promising, but seeing the X-men devolve into amoral supremicist was not the way to go. I was enjoying Way of X a little as it was exploring the excesses of their pride as a mutant nation, even daring Pixie to kill herself to lose her death-virginity and Nightcrawler noticing of depraved that was, was an honest an interesting look into draw-backs of their false immorality. Of course it short-lived and devolved into the writer’s bastardization of religion.
But ultimately the Xmen have made immoral decisions from holding life-saving cures hostage, telling humanity they are their new gods, flaunting their technology and success, allowing unrepentant villians to join them, Hell-fire Gala garbage, allowing the events of Xmen-green to happen. Not to mention stupid decsision, like allowing sinister to join (which horrendsly backfired), not having an actual army and wasting all their time planning parties instead of war hence why Nimrod and Orchis clapped them. Even when you make the allusions to “God loves, Man kills” the mutants were likened to demons, which was not true. Not so much now-a-days with them having a Limbo embassy with Demons standing at the door, way to prove Striker right. But hey better to be in with demons than the homophobic fascists am i right?
This issue wasn’t the best either Cyclops not defending himself was a terrible decision. There he could have proved Orchis was responsible for all the terrible events or at the very least make humanity doubt them. But also it would make sense as it would actually buy time for Rasputin and the Xmen, by not testifying he bought no time at. Then the Xmen killing people and cracking jokes while doing so is odd. And Wolverine screaming, “they are ones who will live in fear!” Sounds more like Magneto than Charles, but then again they gave up on Charles’ dream so I guess that makes sense. Nimrod that destroyed several Omega-level mutants is stopped instantly by a sentient island spitting on him. He killed Jean and Iceman. Orchis constantly goes to a viable threat to bumbling boobs at the drop of a hat.They called mutants an alien invasive species which is not true, but Polaris is bringing a alien invasive species (a very dangerous one in fact), the brood. Which will do nothing to help their situation.
Ultimately, I feel like this run was sabatoged. We never got to see what Hickman invisioned, instead it was hijacked by the X-office and their views as they write thier opinions and views into the characters rather than writing the characters themselves. I think Comic Perch put it best, despite the Xmen having their own island, celebrity status, the planet Mars, faux immortality, the biggest pharmacetucal operations, the friend/ allyship of the entire superhero community, ruling serval magical/ interdimension realms, an enternal waiting room for ressurection, and Met Gala level fashion shows, somehow they are still the oppressed victims. A perfect description of modern day victim culture. If this were not serious but rather a parody it would be brillant.
This was exciting and intense. The one question of many that i have right now; Where tf is Manifold? Hopefully he doesn't become another Darwin. I was almost sure this would have been where he came into play but looks like the most intense moments are yet to come i guess.
Well TBF, Destiny is off un the White Hot Room and Mystique is dealing with her own BS. Not a good reason, but they are kinda busy.
@@adampetra7865 that doesn't really factor in to my question. Destiny said get Manifold 'stashed' and that when the time comes he will be the resolution. Her absence doesn't really say anything about his current status. Either way as i said above there is still more yet to come.
@muteninjaturtle It does answer your question, though. Destiny told Mystique to hide Manifold, Mysti never lets her lover down and hides him somewhere heckin safe. I first assumed a cancerous Krakoa void, than thought Mysti wouldn't have the power to do that, finally realized writers don't give AF as to how far Mysts pleasing her lover powers will stretch... she makes it happen.
Destiny wants to help people and will yank Manifold out to assist when she returns. Mystique doesn't give a fuck about Manifold, or anybody else, until she gets get Irene back.

Fei Long is literally a mutant of the lowest caliber. His mutation was pink skin. Thats it.
So strange to see Nimrod stop so quickly.
Nimrod powerful to manhandle some powerful mutants but also taken out easily.
Sure Nimrod en done in story yet but still.
I feel the reset will be a certain woman dying, then before her 13th birthday she'll be killed or mutant gene taken. (moneys on cable, just saying). It's totally amusing and tragic that both sides are unaware of the time resets. Mutants win Sentinels go back and take the W, which causes Mutants to go back resetting time for the W. For the nature time line to move forward both time traveling parties need to be taken off the board. Then we'll see the return of classic X-men era....

"they stole mars away" you couldn't even reach Mars. They took it before you were even capable of reaching it. So how is that stealing?
I dont understand whats the point of eliminating muntans within Marvel it repetitive and mundan.
Even if all the Mutans are killed or left earth their still other threats like alines, magic and other superpower beings etc...
In the Marvel; Fortnite crossover event comic Thor (Marvel comics) has access to the island/ominverse so he could send the Mutants, x-men etc... to the island so they could leave peace or call allies for help.
The Batman who laughs could cause so chaos within the world of Marvel comics which I would love reading or even anime like Dragon ball, Attack on titan or my hero academia.

I won't be picking up any future titles associated with the return to The Mansion. That's just too backwards for me. Mutants are all about evolution. I can't wait to see The Brood feasting on ORCHIS. I still would like to see Uranos unleashed upon Nimrod. Have Polaris tear apart Omega Sentinel. I'm not paying attention to the Ms. Marvel title but I am curious how Kamala will react to being in an actual war where mutants are fighting and killing off ORCHIS affiliated humans. Because war isn't pretty.

Nope, Uranos will NOT be used! Storm already decided to not to after considering it. Even the Brood attack and infect Orchis, Orchis is still too big and too powerful with several AI characters among them, so no, the Brood might be able to inflict great damage on Orchis, but they wouldn't be able to finish them off!

theyre really pushing the trials of magneto cards on cyclops and jean, jean being wanda, cyclops being magneto LMFAO... and its sad how wanda is just not even linked into the storylines despite all these connections to her

Monarch, no idea, Mr. M, rumoured to be in Otherworld, Nate Gray still on the Age of X-man pockter dimension he created himself before the Krakoa Age, and Scarlet Witch is with the Avengers fighting a group of villain based on King Arthur's round table

I absolutely hate what john hickman has done with the x men he's turned them into separatists well let some of the most evil mutants like apocalypse and sabrotooth on and even humans like Wilson fisk are allowed on the island just because hes married to a mutant but kicked Franklin Richards of the island just because he's not a mutant and refused to help with his powers because of it and worst even when i bring this up on reddit people will still justify it i dont know what im more fucking disgusted by what hickman has done with the x men or the amount of people defending what hes done but tell me what you think
I think it’s beautifully done. Krakoa was a clean slate. Every sin forgiven. Very biblical. Some showed changed. Others are still villains. It’s shows the more human aspect of mutants. Hubris and over confidence. While giving other mutants a true chance to shine. I love hickmans work

After X-Men Gold, it became clear that the people with political power were never going to give mutant kind rights. On the island everyone got a clean slate, and they were still trading with the outside world. All the evil mutants were given a chance to change, Sabretooth couldn't change and was punished until it became to hard to keep him imprison. For Franklin I think it was more about challenging Reed, don't go poking a bear if you don't want a fight. Reed was the one who took Franklin's powers away.

They don’t have to go to the island of krakoa. You offer me paradise tho, I’m going regardless of family and friends. In real life I’ve moved all over the country. It’s no different. They can visit home anytime they want.

Manifold and Doug Ramsey are supposed to be vital to save Krakoa but neither of them are anywhere to be found. Also, I'm getting kinda tired of these mutant genocides every few years; you'd think that the UN and other organizations worldwide would denounce all of this and put the perpetrators on trial for crimes against humanity, but no.
