Hellion villian arc was set up 15 years ago and they did nothing with it, FINALLY he is taking on the role.
all of Emma frost's worst impulses are in one book. And all of them are her kids. (students and daughters)
And she's IN Chicago after breaking with Tony, not caring or realising what "her children" are doing right now😅
Ms Marvel's mutant ability was revealed to be hard-light constructs like the Disney+ show. At least, that was the mutant power the clone of her had in her recent "Mutant Menace' series.

Mrs. Marvel's power is to try and steal time away from important heroes. like when she "died" in Spiderman's comic and then reborn on Krakoa. No one cared then and we still don't now.

HellionxX23 forever poor julien can never get a break. Guy is a near omega level telekinetic was a heroic team leader with darker edge and now they use him as fodder. It is good to see him and anole. Thanks for the vids

I love this new comic. Honestly there is a strong grey area. there is a part of me who are with Ms.Marvel’s team and the their is also with Krakoan and the new Quiet Council.
No, there is NO Quiet Council anymore!! This is a small group set up by Empath
The fact that their motivation is so gray area. I understand why they’re doing this. Unlike Ms. Marvel who is knew being a mutant. They don’t understand what Krakoan and friends have been through. Their home and culture was taken away by Orchis. Beside Orchis Kamala Khan never experience the mutant lost such as Genosha and The Scarlet Witch making Mutantkind endangered. They witnessed friends and love ones killed by Sentinels only because their different from humans
Her mutant powers are her MCU ones.
They are dormant. But when her corpse is reanimated, it has them.
great place for Empath. I would have totally skipped this comic. Glad I watched. I missed Hellion.
The Krakoan is my favorite villain
In my opinion, Marvel Comics should've relaunched the New Mutants and added Ms. Marvel and the rest of the mutants to the lineup! They ought to let Chris Claremont write the title again! He had enormous ideas for writing comic books! I missed him a whole lot!

Don't know much about Ms Marvel, but there's enough characters that need attention as is. X-Men doesn't need other superheroes taking up roster space.

What's going on with the sisters? More than half of them are evil again? Haven't they done this a lot already? Hellion and Laura in the same book huh? They use to date.

Controlled by Empath
Ok ill be honest i didnt have much hope for this title but i have to admit i do like MsMarvel and i absolutely LOVE original Hellions. This may have some legs as far as Ms Marvels powers set she basically has the same base powers as Apocalypse complete control over her body and cellular structure.
I was hoping that the new brotherhood would be a mix of humans, mutants, and other races around earth. I can see them getting so fed up with races always hating and killing each other that they would resort to villainous means to achieve Xavier's original dream.
Nope. That can never happen. Humans in general can never get along with mutants so you are just asking for the impossible
I mean, I adore Ms. Marvel and X-23, and I really like the Cuckoos, too. I may have to get this one. 😅

I suspect that Empath is doing his usual bad jerk routine. Hellion acted jerky when he first came out, but had shown that he does have a good streak. The Cuckoo's showed a borderline streak before in X-men issues but do obey mama Emma, who's no great angel herself, but stooping to so much violence and reverting back to the Hellfire style of relations to human isn't Emma's style now. She's borders at times, but only to those who deserve her anger. I suspect that Empath is rather influencing Krakoan/Hellion, and the Cuckoo's into playing his antics. For what purpose, its unknown, but even Empath has a human side of wanting friends/support as evidenced in his earlier re-emergence in the early working with Havok, Scalphunter, Psylocke/Kwannon on Sinester's team. Each of the members of NYX have been around, which Ms Marvel, Wolverine/X23. Prodigy's usage in New Mutants, Krakoan age team up and Dead X-men shows he's actually has dynamic potential over the years, that he would rival much of the genius intellects of other Marvel characters, as well as acquiring skill potential as with Iron Fist, Shang Chi, Daredevil, Electra that would make him quite an asset, possibly including potential of learning mystical arts from Doctor Strange/Brother Voodoo. If young Hank McCoy can learn mystical arts, so could Prodigy. Anole and Sophie also make pairing up the team interesting, which might display stealth capability, camouflage and sticking to walls, plus strength. Sophie would be young Emma with young Jean Grey's telepathic/telekinetic, plus diamond form? Potential, but I'm not too fond of Wolverine's new suit, it neckline collar appearance looks cumbersome for battle for Wolverine, the black and yellow colors remind me of early X-men initial costume, and head piece wing mask is too much like Logan's Wolverine, which when he was unmasked and had bushy hair style was original but for Laura with longer hair compressed in a tight head piece would be uncomfortable retaining heat. I actually like X-23, early usage of Wolverine's Fang outfit showing her feral feminine style. Less is more.
I think krakoa is coming back. Inevitably. On another note. Where's Darwin?

Hate is a strong word but to be honest, I hate Ms Marvel. Saying it just feels so right. However, I am intrigued & will follow along so long as you cover it.

Personally I like that we can finally have mutant villains again, for the past 5 years it’s been an us vs them story with limited mutant vs mutant stories p, I mean they literally had to create an entire offshoot of mutants via Arrako to have any mutant vs mutant storylines and those were just essentially civil wars.

I haven't followed much of Marvel since the 2016 era where they made wholesale changes. Marvel has no idea what to do with Kamala Khan who has never been able to generate any buzz no matter what form of media she is in. I found it interesting about Prodigy saying the dream of Charles Xavier is to protect the oppressors. Xavier's dream was for humans and mutants to live in peace together. Prodigy comes off as a glazed socialist professor. Shouldn't it be to free people from the oppressors? Isn't that what the Avengers do to avenge the oppressed? It sounds like the creators and editors of Marvel have a skewed moral compass.
There's definitely a lot of Ms Marvel hate. She was a character I really didn't like or dislike but shoe warning her into the X-Men like this is not a way to help the characters popularity, regardless of whatever film reasons they give for it
I know I shouldn't punish the rest of the X-Men for Mrs Marvel but.......
I'll at least give it a fair shot by listening to you and seeing if I'll buy the books.

I hope the next issue explains how Sophie is the only cuckoo sister running free, you'd think if they were a hive mind she'd go looking for her sisters when she felt something was off or couldn't feel them
Sophie was the softest of the sister and might have not agree with making things worst for mutants.

I hate Ms Marvel but boy I am intrigued. More so on what made these mutants act a certain way as I thought some of them when through the gate from Arrako, the White Hot room and so on.
I wanna see a flashback of that explain the time from Fall of X to where we are at now SPECIFALLY with the mutants trying to restore krakoa.
If u understand all my comments u know I love new story lines and yea mutants being hated again is not new the fact that we have a curve ball as other mutants may be the cause of it has my interest in the grand scheme of things as far as X Men stories.
Hellion,empathy, an cuckoos, were all mentored by Emma Frost. Empathy was being groomed to be on the inner circle of the hellfire club before the hellions were killed.
Hellion/Krakoan is the only selling point for this book to me.

11:48 What you said about some mutants not being done with Krakoa makes sense. What's odd is, why don't more mutants feel this way? During the Krakoan age, mutants were near gods. You'd think they would have a harder time letting that go.
NO, the mutants are NOT gods, just humans with powers! They were never gods and never will be since they have very human flaws that govern their thinking and beliefs and haven't been able to transcend that!! As for why other mutants don't feel that way, simple, because they are isolated from their families or loved ones!

And they had achieved feats like resurrection and the terra forming of Mars that could only be called godlike in scope. What I ask is, why aren't more mutants pining for the good old days?

Since this issue lol, it’s something new that they haven’t explained for some reason, but I’m assuming it has something to do with Charles, as apparently any skilled telepath can have very minor telekinesis.
