So you say it could do more harm than good using this with PLA due to heat retention. My Ender 3 uses exclusively PLA but it's in my bedroom so I was looking for a way to reduce the amount of microplastic fragments I'm exposed to. I know that PLA is really inert but I prefer to err on the side of caution, so would you recommend me to get this enclosure or is there another way to solve my problem? Leaving the enclosure open seems counterproductive to my situation
Will that enclosure make PLA filament stick to a PEI spring steel bed, long enough for the printer to finish, as long as the bed stays very hot?! I use an Ender 3 Max Neo
@@derk4737 PLA doesn't need a lot of heat with pei. 50-55 is ideal. Wash the bed with dish soap and water, make sure it's level and keep the machine away from drafts. Enclosures sometimes do more harm than good with PLA
@@TheFeralEngineer I got the enclosure for the printer because, I tend to have fans going and sometimes an air conditioner going and frequent drafts from people walking near it!
I got one, though mine didn't come with the light but came with the ventilation fan instead, which is clearly the more important accessory.

You more than likely wouldn't have any major issues unless the chamber temp gets over 40c, but some enclosures have a filtered exhaust you could use

It should keep the temperature inside stable.
@@Captain_Draco you just have to keep an eye that the inside temperature doesn't get too high with pla or that can cause issues as well

The large will fit the plus. The max you need to look into a grow tent. Nobody makes a real printer tent for those
