Bro I'm at work. Can't be laughing this hard my boss will find out!
@J W ??
You just lied... on the internet...
HAHAHAHA I know right? :3
I love how kerbals just stare blankly knowing that there has been hundreds of failed test flights and that they will likely be one of them
"Did you do it?"
"Yes..."
"What did it cost?"
"... Everything. Jk no lol it only took 1.3 tons."

He did stay in orbit for a few days, but yeah
"Hey Boss, I think I'm being overworked. I'm seeing a hillucination of Bill in the corner"

"Boss, now it's speaking to me. I'm taking PTO"
Mr. Night Correction, he spent 267 days in orbit.

5k funds? Ight time time to get to duna :Edit I remember my first mün land tho it was like the size of a eeloo lander and costed about 45 trillion dollars
@@Kerbist I have two rockets for the mun. One for scientific research and the other, for tourist contracts. Just one tourist pays for the rocket twice fold and I'm carrying 4 of them. It's very lucrative
My rocket for the mun was probably the simplest rocket possible, iirc there were only 4 stages, simplest capsule, simplest legs, went to the mun and back with the same capsule
An hour later: Turbo Pumped releases the .9 ton Minmus rocket.
45min later: Brad releases the 0.1 ton minmus rocket.
And then Bradly Whinstance will manage to fly to Minmus with just an EVA-pack...

Next thing I know you and Turbo Pumped are gonna build negative mass SSTOs.
Bradley already did, went to the Mun and mined fuel, came back with more than he left with. Technically...
Violet716 true, after burning he had more fuel so in the end…
I think that would either break the game or crash the game if it were possible to build them.
...negative mass is like a balloon. so... BILL USES A HELIUM BALLOON TO GO TO -MINMUS- *EELOO* AND BACK

Wow that was ridiculous. You beat me, and with a big margin too! very well done!
I didnt know junos could go above 750 m/s, or that you can burn off engines again.
One question though, where is the air intake?
@Benjamin Joshua Beggs HAXXXX
@Benjamin Joshua Beggs Latest versions of the game doesn't show air intake in resources, at least it doesn't for me.
@Benjamin Joshua Beggs clipped i bet
Just tweaked my own design a little, and found out that yes you can go over 750 with a juno.
Amazing how far you can push things in KSP with a little tweaking.
@@turbopumped6490 The intake is mounted in reverse inside the Juno. (Hooray realism) The engine runs on @90% around 400-700 m/s due to this, but the lower drag pays off.

@@jamesmnguyen yeah, really, how big is the Kerman family? And why are they all astronauts?
Bill must have felt silly planting a flag of a character from the game HSP.
No, it’s Sherlock Kerman
Honestly, HSP was a failure. I can’t seem to secure funding, and every time I direct the space program’s attention to “Mars,” the government tells me I have to go to the Mun analog, the “Moon.” I also can’t find Minmus and the moon that is supposed to be Laythe is just “Titan,” which is orange!
A Random Guy It’s much easier to use the SpaceX DLC then the NASA base game. I hate pay to play games like that

MATT YOU MISCHIEVIOUS FLAG MAN
Finaly a spacecraft my pc can handle
The captions have me CRYING 😂😂😂😂😂😂 5:40
The funny thing is that you can nowadays just land a Kerbal without a heat shield at all, open their parachute once they're well subsonic, and have a cross-range capability of something like 200+ kilometers, although this requires the use of more EVA fuel to control the descent than bill has left.
You should reboot The Odyssey by Bill in the Galileo Planet Pack Mod! Plenty of new destinations.
thank you for this video it put a big smile on my face
congratz for the baby
Meanwhile I’m out here struggling to orbit a 20 tonne rocket 😭
Oh, you got me wondering. 1.3 tons to send Bill and bring him home. But if you could take any number of kerbals, what would be the lowest weight-per-kerbal?
An interesting proposition.
Lol was that Matt Lowne
I was just thinking exactly this.
I mean no offence to Matt Lowne, but I simply don't think he is good enough to pull this off Matt Lowne isn't as experienced in minimalist missions, I mean Bradley Whistance is the one who sent a manned ship to duna and back in less than 3 tons, and that speaks for itself
Besides Whistance and Turbo Pumped, the only guy who I think may be able to match this is Hazardish.
The question is how I could upload custom flags in KSP
There is a folder in the game files with all the flag images, you can drop your own there.
You should try flying through the mun arch during a flyby of the mun (hyperbolic trajectory)
Too easy?
Can we talk about what a masterpiece that Chopin score is. wow
I have a question, can one use a Mk1 lander can's ability to infinitely replenish EVA propellant to save on a transfer stage? Like litterally just get out and push the lander can with the EVA pack to Minmus and back? It would make the weight left for the orbital stage only 0.34 tonnes due to the "massive" lander can.
Dunno but I think that would be considered as cheat.
He said in another comment that he's already orbiting less than .34 tons so it'd be useless
Everyone : MORE THRUSTERS MORE GAS MORE FUN.
This guy : 14 parts 1323 KG ship that goes longer than humanlife.
Here I am, seeing Bill use a jetpack to rendezvous with a flying space chair.
Really impressive! That parachute flight though the r&d building was great!
This is the ksp equivalent of a speed run
Amazing! How much lighter could these vehicles get?
Using this approach, probably 1.2 tons. If someone determines a new, superior approach....

Jes’ use the stock mun rocket and use a fairing I’ve actually used this before
why is this so calming to watch :3
Challenge: Build an SSTO that is shorter than a Kerbal. Mass doesn’t matter. Can be as long/wide as you want, runway or launchpad works.
Amazing. Kind of weird you're getting a yellow MET with such a simple craft... maybe check the console for error messages?
whats an MET?
Kasyu mission elapsed time, referring to the date/time in the top left corner... IIRC if your game FPS is below the “physics limit” then it is yellow to show you that the game is simplifying the physics calculations to ensure you get a decent FPS. Or something like that. The graphics mods that add clouds are typically a culprit you can’t avoid, but sometime mods are buggy and throw off errors in the console.
That's probably like that cuz he is using timewarp (i think)
