well nostalgia also makes it a lot better automatically. Personally the last jedi is my 3rd favorite star wars movie. they made the characters more realistically human and the acting was probably some of the best surprisingly in all of Mark Hamill's career. Even though he wasn't like he was in the other films it only makes sense he would be like he is at that age. No one really stays the same. Things happen. Plus theres a lot of sub context you can very easily miss in the movie and its actually quite important. That I would view as a huge flaw but i guess rian wanted it to be like that.

Carrie was such a likeable person. Its hard to believe that things ended up that way for her in life. Alot of it has to do with this toxic hollywood environment that she found herself growing up in, and one thing leads to another and before you know it your hooked on drugs and drink which subsequently destroyed her and led to her early demise when you are not strong enough or mature enough as a person mentally and find you self being said and led by negative influences. !

Surely if they were interviewing about empire strikes back this would not be 1984 it would be 1980 or at the very latest 1981.

I like to think that Carrie introduced Mark to smoking and drinking before this interview. In a cute way. I also realized that I'm quite a bit older than them here (reached thirty). Damn. HAVE FUN KIDS! PS. No, I'm not Han Solo
PPS. A cross between a Sherman tank and a camel? Damn! This interviewer woman isn't half bad either!

Carrie was in her early 20’s here. She was 19: when she filmed the first Star Wars. No pressure. As we know now, Harrison Ford was having an affair with her. She had a lot to deal with at a very young age. As for Mark, in between Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back he was in a bad car accident and messed his face up, lots of scarring. That’s why Luke looks so much older in the second film.

    This movie looks great!
I predict that It's going to change EVERYTHING! 👍😂
Edit; Omg EVERY interview they did with Carrie Fisher back then they asked her about dropping out of school at age 15 it's SO friggin' ridiculous!
Get your priorities straight, people! She's here to promote her movie, (you know; the ONLY reason you're even TALKING to either of them right now,) not answer questions about completely unrelated and irrelevant PERSONAL crap like that!
It's so obvious they're trying to over-sensationalize the interview, they could have asked her ANYTHING in the little bit of time they had and she wasted the last opportunity on THAT!
    Absolutely disgusting!
