NEW Chevrolet Silverado 4.3 BEST EXHAUST

Walk around and start up of my 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2wd Reg Cab with the 4.3L V6. Also this will pull on a v6 camaro up to 60 mph. Couple of mods I've done to make it better. This is the first truck I've owned with a V6. VERY surprised about the performance and after the mods I am very happy. First was the Pedal Commander - I have it set at sport + 2, not sport ++2. Had it for over 8 months and no problems. Next was the MBRP 3 inch cat back exhaust, hesitant as well because no real reviews but VERY impressed sounds like a V8. Finally the American Racing 18 inch black wheels and the General Grabber A/T tires (4 ply). Installed at Discount Tires. Look and feel great, also handle very well on and off road.

Sounds good at idle. Just never been a fan of v6s.Tires and wheels are very sharp.

I bought 1500 Silverado with the V6 I love left sound of the engine it doesn't sound like a sewing machine

Get the 2.7, I just upgraded to the crew cab with the 2.7, averaging 20.6 mpg city

Did you lose any low end torque/response? Any drone in V4 mode?

If anything I gained low end torque, but I also have a pedal commander. Since mine is the V6, it does not switch to V4. However there is some drone in the cab while city driving. Hwy is fine.

DesertDRZ Hm, that’s weird I have a 2018 4.3 Ecotec and it switches to 4 Cylinders depending on load.

Mine rarely says ‘ 28 ‘ but hand calculated more like 22-23. I put 2019 Silverado 18” rims with factory 265’s before it had 17”s with 255’s
