I also get mixed reviews doesn't longer shafts mean slower travel to the board I have the problem where I pummel the darts in hard but my tip dives down and alot of the time my flight will bounce against the board and knock the dart out I'm hoping someone can help me to tell me how the tip can get and stay up higher so it doesn't dive and fall out all the time any help will be appreciated 👍
Hello, I watch your youtube videos with interest. my question would be about dart selection. Many companies have a lot of arrows.. I am thinking of making a dart field for myself at work. to spend my free time and improve myself. How should the primary dart selection be? Should I choose a straight long dart or a short bullet-shaped arrow? What should the weight be? Would you have a chance to mention a few inexpensive models that you can recommend?
Wayne hopefully you can get back with me I have always thrown the John Lowe style Dart and have played now with the phase 5 for a long time and I have moved to Target Sport 90 extreme I've tried to 24 gram just too light 26 gram has always been my weight so I ordered the sport 90 extreme 26g they are 3 mm longer at 53 and a half could you give me any idea on maybe a stem I could try I have been using the Pro Grip spin and a number to Target flight I would appreciate it if you could give me any idea the barrel is so much longer than what I'm used to really wanting these to work. Andy Proctor I personally used the Sport 90 25g, very similar to phase5’s. But I prefer the Taylor gen1’s, 26g. I use them with medium shafts and standard flights. Works great for me and the way I throw. Good luck and shoot well🎯🎯🎯

Another reviewer said that the farther away the flight is from the barrel, the faster the dart flies. So now I have no idea.
Matthew Edgar did a very good video on this and also lenght and shape of the other parts of the dart (point, flight).
