You mentioned about the leg room issues for taller people, well, I'm a 6 footer, and I have no such issues till date. I've been riding my Aerox for over two weeks now, enjoying every bit of it.

This is not a Maxi 'Styled' Scooter. It IS a Maxi Scooter. Aprilia SXR and Suzuki Burgman are Maxi Styled Scooter.
You are entitled to your opinion. But a maxi-scooter is usually with engines above 250 cc. The BMW C 400 GT is a true maxi-scooter. Even Yamaha doesn't claim this is a maxi-scooter, but a "maxi-styled sports scooter."
I took my test drive yesterday and booked the scooter here in Bangalore. I don’t know why people are nitpicking about this scooter in terms of practicality, this scooter is not for people who are looking to carry luggage in the first place. The weight distribution is awesome, you don’t feel it’s back heavy, the ride is very comfortable and you sit upright unlike any other scooter. I’m 5’11 and there was no issue with Leg room for me. Overall I liked how good the ride felt and confident the scooter’s overall response was. The tires are wider than it looks in real life and Cornering on scooter never felt this amazing. What you are getting is a bike without gear.
Agree with you. This isn't a scooter which is to be considered for practical requirements. It's more of a heart decision, and on that count, Aerox certainly scores very, very high. Thank you for watching. Do keep giving us your feedback.

Why Yamaha didn't brought the lastest mode scooter instead of this maxi,

We'd say take a test ride and decide for yourself. How you sit on the scooter will also determine if the knee room is adequate. For 5'10" and anything up to 6', shouldn't be a problem at all. But we know of customers who are 6'2" and are quite happy with it.
Suzuki burgmen is most ugly scooter ever launched in india, yet people buy it. this is far better style and ride quality.
