How I Make my 7777 Orcs!!! Orc Training Tutorial - Middle Earth Shadow of War (PS4 Guide)

- This guide shows how I farm orcs from the pit fights and turn them into absolute near-perfect beasts! You're going to need at least 2 USB's and PS+ to do it the way I do (PS4). This can all be done with Xbox and PS5, but you'd have to garrison the orc and take him to a new playthrough. Since i rely on the Flame of War scar, this guide doesn't apply to Ologs or unique orcs like The Gravewalker that can't change their titles. Check the comments for Time Stamps. I've currently got 30+ 7777 orcs and may showcase them soon. Best of luck and I'm happy to answer questions in the comments below!
Basically, we remove Immunities that are NOT Arrow, Execution or Stealth Proof via Shaming. Then we re-level them back up, getting at least 2 of these 3 Immunities added first. Orcs generally have a 5-Immunity limit, but Curse and Fire Immunities can be forcibly added after for 7 total Immunities. I've added details in the comments section but I have a fully written guide on Reddit, look for Luigi-Up-B.
As you shame down the orc and level them back up, continue to back up your progress on your Cloud save or USB. Make sure to have a USB with a low level run of the game where barely any orcs have cheated death. Around the Time you capture the Nurnen fort is fine. Make sure no one has ever cheated death via fire for this to work.
This guide is specifically for Berserker orcs. Non-Berserkers require more steps to get to 7 Enrages since they do not naturally gain them very often.
0:04 - Farming the Pits for a Good Orc Candidate. I look for Berserker Defenders. Immune to Curse, Enraged by Frost, Curse and Pinning all disqualify the orc from gaining 7 Immunities. I avoid Exhaustion and Dazed by Stealth, too.
1:33 - He gained Frost Proof from winning the pit fight. That's okay. We will remove Fire and Frost proof and replace with Arrow and Execution Proof. Will put the other 2 back on later. These guys never gain stealth proof unless they start with it so don't count on that one.
1:45 - Recruited at level 37 and made a bodyguard
2:28 - First shame. From level 37 to 25. No changes to stats with first 2 shames (any orc). Shamed DURING a mission in case he goes Maniac/Deranged. I can Quit Game and that progress won't save. This method will NOT work with a Maniac/Deranged orc.
2:44 - Recruited again (level 25) for next shame.
2:57 - Shamed from Level 20 down to Level 8 (footage of shaming from level 25 to 20 and recruiting again did NOT save, sorry.) THIS is the critical 3rd shame. We WANT to remove at least 1 immunity here. Frost proof is hard to remove and usually only comes off with the 12 level shame. Here, we lose frost proof and gain Sickly. This is okay and will remove it later. Clumsy is temporary and comes off when leveled back up.
3:48 - I leveled him up back to level 10 with no changes. I did this because i want to shame him with a 5 level shame to remove Fire Immunity. We NEVER shame them so that they go BELOW level 5. I back up the game to my PS+ save. This will add Dazes to the orc and make it terribly impossible to remove.
4:14 - Shamed from level 10 to 5 (4th shame). Fire Immunity is removed and we are good to begin leveling back up.
4:29 - Recruited at level 5. Be careful here, these guys are like glass at such a low level. I freeze with Vault and throw the daggers to get him to green. Don't use Wrath mode because the Gondorians will easily kill the orc 100%.
4:45 - I level him up from 5 to 7 with work orders. At level 7 he loses Vulnerable to Stealth. I save this progress to PS+ back-up.
5:08 - Leveled from 18 to 23 using 5-level training order. He gained Arrow Proof. We want Arrow and Execution proof (either one first and second). I don't go past level 28/30 without having both of these. Backed up to PS+ Online Save. He's also lost Beast Fodder!
5:33 - Level 26 to 27 and he gains Execution Proof! The hardest immunities are now done! Backed up to PS+ Save.
5:44 - Leveled from 31 to 32 and gained Frost proof.
5:57 - Sickly Lost at level 35.
6:04 - OPTIONAL - I decided to do a 5-level shame from 35 to 30 and intentionally ADD Flammable since it hadn't happened yet. This gives me a bit more room to add the final 2 Immunities as well as Beast Slayer in the bonus traits. Beast Slayer isn't absolutely necessary, but it helps to offset the lack of stealth proof in online forts and insta-kills Graugs players may use to stealth kill in an online assault.
6:25 - Leveled up with 5-level orders to level 40 and he gained Beast Slayer! This is sometimes harder to add than Arrow and Execution proof. Having Beast Fodder seems to help make it easier, but I do NOT recommend you intentionally add Beast Fodder as it can become permanent.
6:43 - Basically I throw 5-levels until he gains the last 2 Immunities (Poison and Beast) in one attempt. Both gained from level 40 to 55. 60-65 is the limit for gaining traits.
6:50 - I bring him to another region and make him Overlord while wielding the Cursed weapon. This instantly adds Curse Proof. Enraged by Curse makes this impossible and why we avoid orcs that come with it.
7:03 - After switching between Epic Rage and Epic Caragor about 12 times (while still an Epic Orc to add more Enrages), I make him legendary and then keep switching between Epic Rage and Epic Caragor. Here you see that after a couple switches, both traits lock. The orc is ready to go to the USB save 1 low-level file to gain Fire Immunity. We want Epic Caragor locked for the 3rd Epic Trait later.
7:34 - UNINETNTIONAL STEP - Normally, I deploy the orc in my low level (USB Save 1) run as a Body guard and simply slash him till he betrays me. I check his stats with R3 while he's talking and Close Application to avoid Iron Will. For some reason, THIS orc would not betray me at all! So I switched his weapon to fire, I made him overlord (removing Flammable). Then I went to an Outpost Mission and shamed with 5 level shame to regain Flammable. Hopefully your luck is better than mine!
7:48 - KILL IT WITH FIRE! No need to die to him twice. All the interactions with him during the Level up carry over so his Nemesis score is high enough to go ahead and kill him quick and ensure the Cheat Death. BEFORE I kill him, I back up the game with USB Save 2. This is optional and in case he cheats death with a bag head or iron mask. I hate it so I repeat the kill till he comes back with a real face. Since he has the shame scar, it's possible to get those. If you don't care about the mask or bag, then more power to you.
8:05 - OPTIONAL - If you do NOT want the orc to gain the Flame of War title and appearance, then while the orc is still dead, deploy a Flame of War orc you already have from your Garrison. There's thousands of them in Online so you can find some there. This will glitch the game and cause the orc to return normal in appearance and keep his name, but he still gains all the Fire traits of the FoW, even the new voice lines from that Voice actor. As soon as you deploy him, put him in a Warchief position so he's not near you or ambushes you. If he's standing near you while you wait, the dead orc will not cheat death until you garrison the flame of war (he will return as a FoW).
8:35 - The orc cheats death and kept his name. Takes 25-35 minutes. No mask or bag head on first try (lucky). His voice has changed so he's glitched and says nothing here. After this encounter he will have the voice of the Flame of War but not that specific dialogue.
9:19 - We are basically done here (all 7's) but there's a bit more to do. Note that without Beast Slayer, it'd be 7776 0001. Beast Slayer makes a world of difference for many reasons.
9:50 - I do all this on Easy Mode so the orc comes back at my level or only 1 level higher. I use the Legendary Machine sword for the explosions which just melt the orc. Also use non-elemental ground strike to daze him. Ground-and-pound to green and dominate him quickly before Mortal Wounds enrage triggers.
Compare 4:41 and 10:45 - you can hear the voice change!
11:00 - I garrison the orc and return to PS+ online save. Level him to 80.
11:14 - I shame the orc (12 level shame) for Maniac or Derange. This will replace the Epic Caragor with a random Epic Trait. You then recruit the orc, add another Epic Trait, and it will be the 3rd one. Me personally, I need Maniac (adds another enrage) AND the random trait to replace Epic Caragor needs to be Thick Skinned or Great Strength. This can take many hours (my way).
11:35 - After shaming him from 85 to 73, I recruited and add Thick Skin. Now he has 3 Epic Traits (ER, GS, and TS). You don't see Beast Slayer anymore but it is still there, don't worry. Similar to the hidden Enrages.
11:57 - OPTIONAL - If you want to change the element, there's a high chance to LOSE your Bombs. Flame of war gives Fire always. To help avoid this, I make the orc a Warchief and give him bodyguards. Save to PS+ backup. Make the Orc the Overlord very quickly and give him a Curse or Poison weapon very quickly. Then check the orc. He kept the bombs! This took 5 tries.
12:14 - Orc is done!
12:25 - BEFORE
12:29 - AFTER
I have a berserker defender who is lvl 18 and who has 1 immunity which is immune to execution and I keep levelling him and every time I level him up he always gains immune to curse is there anyway to stop this

Turn internet off and level him up. See if he gets something different.
If you see that his 3rd immunity is typically Beast proof, then instead of level ups or death threats, try dying to him. I have this problem with Feral tribe orcs always and I resort to dying to them. It has a way of breaking the “curse barrier”

I once came across a world full of maniacs and deranged orcs, thoughest you can imagine, i couldn't bear hearing them laughing and crying in agony, even if my actions do nothing, i had to do something, i freed as many as i could before dying from their physical prison at last, so that they may rest in peace, i wonder what kind of monster can do that and have no remorse.

Great guide! Interesting thought here though. If I were to face a bunch of these orcs, I would go with wrathgiver, shadeclaimer, the marauder set, mask of the undying with fatal might, and I would just stealth kill them all. Beast slayer is nice, but it doesn't affect the freeze pin chain stealth kill method. I would probably switch to outlaw dagger, get your overlord enraged, and one shot him with a stealth kill. Makes for an interesting puzzle to solve!
Yeah that would work; it’s very hard to find a good berserker with Stealth proof that’s trainable to these stats. Then again this strategy works against the 1000+ Krimp Untouchable and Rash Blackhearts out there.

Love ur videos. I just capture others fortresses and not settle for anything less than 2 weaknesses, with at least 20 strengths in all. I go for the work smarter not harder tactic

Hey man thank you for taking the time to make this video. I've been enjoying this game a lot and now want to make my ultimate army on my own. However I am having terrible luck with adding immune to execute + arrow.
I've literally been at it for 6 hours and no luck.
How long does it usually take you to get it?
I'm working on a level 16 savage berserker who has arrow proof and beast slayer and only 3 in the hints section. Almost always get frost immunity first never execute.
(No he doesn't have enrage to execute)
This is the same with me but instead I have immune to execution and I keep getting immune to curse when I want arrow proof have u found a solution to this?
Arrow proof has to be before execution.

Ive been following your guide on how to make 7777 orcs (both yt and reddit). I wanted to try it on the maku the fixer. He was level 79, the first 2 shames (12) that doesn't remove features took forever he just kept getting deranged, but I managed to get him there. Then i started leveling him down without loosing arrow proof, wich went well. I managed to get him to level 16 then he betrayed me and got iron will. And I just couldn't get it off him even after 3 shames the he got to level 6 keeping arrow proof somehow. Then I loaded back my lvl 16 save and made him a warchief and then my bodyguard again, wich prevented him from betraying me. I tried to get him under lvl 16 with arrow proof about 5-7 tries I would guess? And i settled for that to level him up. I tried both by giving him training orders and make him kill other orcs to get 20 levels. The only thing he got was fast learner back wich he lost. Can blade of galadriel orcs not gain new traits or what? If no, have i done something wrong or just been really unlucky?
I’m pretty sure orcs from the garrison can’t change their strengths and weaknesses. I’m not 100% sure but I think it’s the case for all orca that go into the garrison so you if you have a really weak orc and send him to the garrison and then level him up he will still have his weaknesses

if an orc has enraged by frost, can it still gain frost proof? same with enraged by poison, can it still gain poison proof?

If they become manic you can shame them very low without losing any immunities or gaining weaknesses
@@luigijg5121 i did, got to lvl 5 but they did gain a single weakness I believe, I'm pretty sure that they only had 3 weaknesses but ended with 4

I have been reading all your tips here but i still cant seem to get beast proof and beast slayer. My first guy was on olog and at first i got it several times but had to remove it to get arrow and execution proof.
I gave up on him as it became impossible. He was lvl 21 and it didn't work with work orders. He never got beast trial nemesis missions either, even when i had him ambush me in the snowy Region (he was in MM).
Im on the 2nd guy and same problem. He is 22 and has beast fodder and inflammable. Dying to him doesnt work either. I have tried for almost 2 weeks. Pls, can you offer any advice? Cheers
I got arrow proof, execution proof and frost proof in that order. I keep getting poison/fire and curse proof only

I think an explaintion of how your doing or WHY your doing what your doing would be better then just a video of you doing it, as well you may want to mention that if your doing it this way its going to cost a LOT of Miriam, I did this method four times nothing changed and all I got was being broke. Sure actions speak louder then words but words with actions can be volumes for repeating

So I tried this, and my orc just went from 1131 to 1151, and to make matters worse, his other stats just got worse. He gained 3 mortal vulnerabilities, , 2 reg vulnerabilities, and 1 fear, all that he didn't have before. This just seems to be pure luck, or something...

So how EXACTLY do you get the three epic traits? I saw it was replacing the non existent epic caragor trait. How on...
That’s basically it. Game glitches and thinks you’re replacing the Epic Caragor. So it just straight up adds on that 3rd trait.
I have em target those they can challenge to kill the target for them, and improve them until I earned the immunities I could help em get.

did the cursed weapon make him a necromancer? I heard that on these 7777 orcs you could have an extra 8th ability that won't show. Wondering if Necromancer might have been one
No it didn’t. Necromancer would be in the 4th column (bonus traits). The orc needs cursed weapon and cursed skin to unlock it. Even then there are some titles that have both of these but cannot become necro
I hate the stupid handprint, have to rely on rng - but I respect the hassle.

If you sent an orc to the garrison or if the orc is from an online mission the orc can't gain strengths?
They can gain some stuff via interactions like Graug Enrage and Curse Proof when set or overlord, but nothing via level up

Yes 👍 level them up so that they lose Soft Target very quickly. Then they can gain Arrow Proof as first or maybe second immunity

Every time one of my orcs die in the pits I see the enemy orks level thing appear in the pit but he disappears immediately, like I do not get the chance to fight or dominate him.

@@vluso_us yeah it is, but if I remember correctly in the video he’s doing online pits too, I finally was able to get around my problem, after the fights I use the ability that teleports you to them and attacks/dominates.
Does it make sense to lower already legendary orcs, and not pump them from scratch? I've only recently started playing and I don't fully understand the mechanics yet

Yo I have a olog I am working on and I wanted to know if it is possible for arrow proof to be the 4th immunity. The guy is already immune to execution stealth and fire. And is already maniac.
If he’s a berserker I’d say no way. If tank or commander then maybe a tiny Chance. Honestly I’d leave out the arrow proof. Go for Beast Then Poison THEN Frost in that order. You can add curse later with cursed weapon and making him overlord so he will end up with 7 immunities. Frost can come on as 6th, this is a newer discovery
@@luigijg5121 he is a commander I wanted to try and make him only hurt by beast because he is beast slayer and has bestial frenzy. And I also dont know if I can get beast proof because he is beast fodder
@@edks2006 okay good luck, give it like 100 attempts and see what happens. Also. Say he gets Curse Immunity. Keep going, see if he can get it 5th, once you know it’s possible for him to get it, keep retrying till it happens 4th. These orcs/Ologs are always full of surprises. We’ve had plenty of Tanks get Stealth proof 4th and even 5th

How did you get him to cheat death
I took him to an early game save were death cheats are far more likely. All the shaming and recapturing I did built up his Nemesis score and it carries over. First orc to cheat death by fire in a game comes back as flame of war.
How did you get them to be warchief
I just moved him to the position. I own the fort

What I do more often now is keep a low level save. Talion is level 44 and I did not complete the last mission yet. On this file I die to Pretender decoys and regular Grunt Defenders. Apply the same stuff and I’ve gotten several great orcs including my No Chance defender berserkers. For Orcs starting from level 80 tho, I do not recommend doing these methods. When they get shamed so low, it tends to permanently lock out immunities from being regained
For level 80ish orcs, what I recommend is to try and make them a maniac right away. Then you can shame them down to level 5 and relevel as much as you want. This is how I trained my Necro Ologs. They may not be all 7777 but it’s not the end of the world. I have some Ologs with only 3 immunities that I’m very proud of

The maniac thing is only done to add the 3rd epic trait. So if you don’t need it, no need to make them crazy

@@mee091000 there’s lots of legacy orcs from older patches (and Ologs) that were able to get 3 or more epic traits in older patches without shaming. If there’s a way to do it on the current patch then that’s news to me and the other trainers
@@luigijg5121 I see... You might be right about that. Honestly I'm not sure. I think people are still figuring new things out with these Orcs even after all this time. There's definitely still some legacy Orcs out there that people have been training while keeping their sanity. Glad I've run across a few of them.
I have a question. So they gain weakness when they get shamed but how do you remove those weaknesses?
Oh yeah other question! Can this be done with any orc or only the ones for fighting pits? Like for example if I recruit a random legendary orc can I do this with the orc aswell?
Level them back up to remove those weaknesses. You shouldn’t be adding too many weaknesses tho.

Basically the same exact way up until the Flame of War Part. Back your game to the Online Backup Save for xBox. Garrison the orc. Now you delete game on console and start a new game. Play up to when you get the Nurnen fort. So within 2 -3 hours this should take the first time around. Deploy your orc and make him cheat death by burning him. When he comes back with the fire immunity get him back, garrison him then reload the main save. Continue with the maniac steps if you want to

@@nouraremadna2418 There is another method which you might of already found out by now if not well all you do is garrison your orc and while your still in the army selection screen go to Xbox guide>Shadow Of War>Press Start button>Manage Game & Add-ons>Local Save> Delete all (Don't delete from cloud or you actually lose your save completely) it will force exit your game then you load back into your game and let it sync your data then once that is done you'll notice your orc is still in the army selection and you will have all your money back BUT if you look in your garrison you'll notice you have a copy of that orc in your garrison!.
Better not skip leg day!
How could you know the orc would Cheat death?
I deployed him in a save file where I intentionally didn’t let anyone cheat death. His nemesis score is already high from all the shames and level up. At this point burning him guarantees the Flame of War cheat death
this only works for some people, it definitely doesnt work for me, hell i cant even get an orc to remove beast fodder anymore no matter how long i train the orc
Try adding Flammable and then levelling up. I’ve been able to remove Beast Fodder and Vulnerable to Stealth this way a few times now. It’s like giving the game a reason to “touch” the vulnerability section and sometimes the not-Flammable one gets picked.
Is your ork from the garrison
Because if it is it can’t gain enything
so when you shame orcs it removes trates?
On the 3rd shame and beyond yes. So the idea here is to use that to your advantage

luig, take a doubt from me is the variety of Orcs the same for PS4 AND XBOX ONE S, DESPITE INDIVIDUAL SERVERS? because it may be that certain ORCS editions only exist on one platform.

You mean the warchiefs? That’s a glitch in the game. If you spend enough time there, hidden orcs show up in those spots. You can’t reveal intel or death threat them. It’s possible to have them ambush you if you kill their bodyguards.

You can’t keep orcs recruited in friendly siege. Got to be ranked. But there are plenty plenty of forts with all these 7777 orcs I’ve made so just get to 1000+ assault rating and you’ll find them

This is for PC and PS4 only. Get a usb stick, plug it into the back of the ps4 or in the pc, and you can save a copy of your game right on it

He did many times. If he went insane during a mission, I simply go to Start, Quit Game, and that game does not save. If it was outside of a mission, I backed up my save to usb. If he went crazy I reloaded the save

How did you add immunities
Anytime they level up (under level 65) they have a chance to gain some trait. We basically level up and reload the save until they level up with exactly what you want. So it’s basically a slightly controlled RNG
It would be a lot easier if you just explain the steps so that it is less confusing if i have an orc that isn't like that one

And another question when I'm gonna give him Fire Proof to make him Flame of war is it ok to be in late game cuz I haven't got a Flame of War in this playthrough.
Hev'e gotten every single Immunity except Frost Proof slowly I think I just give him the Frost Enrage
@@kiyancitak622 oh man, I’m so sorry but we’ve come to find out that some titles absolutely refuse to gain Frost proof, even if they have the Susceptible hint. Unfortunately, the Bold is one of them (Warmonger Tribe). Some other ones to watch out for would be The Champion, Gore King, Blood Storm, The Duelist, Dead Wood, and the saddest of all, The Merciless

Can someone explain to me what happend
I watch all these guides and they never explain the logic behind what they’re doing. Why shame them and re-recruit them so much? Why level them to those specific levels? How do they get those traits? It’s always just instruction and never information. It’s like Pokémon breeding but you don’t know how it works. You just do what the videos tell you but since you don’t understand it you have to keep watching the videos over and over and skip to certain parts while you’re doing it.
Will try to explain the fundamentals in a new video. Was training an orc today but he turned into a pain and I might not use him for the vid.
The goal here is to get on as many immunities as possible. Some immunities become much harder, if not impossible, to be gained as the total number of immunities goes up.
As a general rule of thumb, we split the immunities into 3 groups:
Group 1: The big 3. Stealth, Arrow and Execution Proof. Orcs have the best chance of gaining these if the current number of immunities is 0 to 1. Berserkers will pretty much never gain Stealth Proof unless it’s already there. Ultimate goal is show up with Stealth proof, gain Arrow Proof second and then Exe proof third. Stealth is overall fairly rare so the majority of trainers will shoot for arrow first and Exe second. These become extremely difficult to be gained in slots 3+.
Group 2: Beast, Fire and Poison Proof. These can be pretty easily gained as 3rd 4th and 5th in any order. For Group 1 and Group 2 immunities, max number any orc can gain is 5. The majority of 7777 orcs will have Arrow then Exe then Beast then fire and poison 5th.
Group 3: Frost and Curse Proof. These two immunities are not limited to the first 5 as with the other immunities. They can be gained 6th or 7th or even 8th. Frost is the most difficult immunity to remove and Curse is not possible to remove so both should be reserved till the end.
And that’s basically it. Some immunities want to be first and others are fine being last. If you get an orc with Fire and Poison proof, you want to shame those off. So you shame during a mission and retry till those specific ones are removed. Then you’re essentially replacing them with better immmunities (Arrow and Exe) before getting fire and poison back later

So they just gain those immunities randomly as they level up? No set level where they acquire a new immunity? Same for traits?
So shame makes them lose immunities. Does it make them lose traits too? If so, is it random which one it removes?
How do you know the specifics about the different groups? Like the big 3 is easy to get when they have less immunities, curse immunity can never be removed, or berserkers can't learn immunity to stealth, for example. Is there like a datamine guide or something?
Are you always guaranteed to make them go mad from this process? I don't think it'd be worth it to me to make them lose their personality in the process.

@@BigFatJuicyMonkies The only trait permanently removed by shames is Iron Will, no other traits are removed. Shamed to low levels, some class and bonus traits will visually disappear but they come right back on when leveled up.
The traits being gained are random and happen randomly. Orcs can gain traits from level 1-65, but I find the more common range is 15-55. 5-15 is a good range for losing Fears and Vulnerabilities.
Keep in mind that after 2 shames, another shame will remove an immunity. You have to budget your shames to make sure the orc gets them all in that 5-55/60 level range. I shoot for arrow proof by level 25 and Exe by 30. 2 more in 30-45. 5th at 45-50 and then Frost 50-60.
Only two immunities are forceable: Fire and Curse. Fire proof can be gained by making your orc cheat death to fire. The Flame of War title will force fire proof. It has to be the first cheat death to Fire in a playthrough though, that’s why I use a new low level save here since I know I haven’t got a FoW yet. Curse proof is easy, simply make them an overlord while wielding a curse weapon and done. Unfortunately, poison proof is not forced on via Blight scar/cheat death.
We’ve experimented with the other cheat death methods and theoretically it should work, but it just hasn’t. Killed many orcs with stealth and many Ologs with Graugs for these immunities, just doesn’t work.

@@BigFatJuicyMonkies “How do you know the specifics?” Mostly from experience. My own and from many other orc trainers. Recently data miners have surfaced but the info they give us and whatever you can dig up with Cheat Engine didn’t really teach us anything we didn’t already know.

It can be, I’ve done it before but it took many hours. For berserkers this seems to be the easiest way:
Arrow, Execution, Beast, Fire, Poison, Frost, Curse
If they have stealth proof then it’s:
Stealth, Arrow, Exe, Beast, Poison, Frost, curse, then fire via Flame of War
