Gaia can be brutal in the early game with lush and gaia forest to claim land. Love this game mode. Any chance we can get more casts of the crazy god/civ remix mod?

You mean Overhaul? I plan on getting some more games on it done over this week for sure! I skipped a bunch of casts I did cause it they were a bit on the older side of the patch. With no more changes happening I can focus on simply changing numbers so it shouldn't be as jarring trying to understand what's going on.

@@BoItTV I meant the god mixup mod that randomises what gods you get for your civ, so you can have Egyptian civ with Loki priests archaic age, get hermes centaur classical, skadi heroic and hekate mythic e.t.c.
It's just a crazy mod and very in the spirit of April 1st. The overhaul 6.0 patch is looking good and once all the tooltips have been updated I think it should be much easier to understand XD
There is literally only one thing about 6.0 that I feel awkward about and it's ragnarok. I 100% agree with the direction of making it so the game is more about responding to what your opponent is doing rather than stacking bonuses. The stuff with new houses on age up is amazing and Thor being dwarves only is hilarious in the best way.
But I was thinking... Ragnarok has one of the coolest "feels" to it. It really does feel like the end of the world culminating in one final fight. Strategy-wise I think it does not make for interesting games in the long run if in a 1,000 norse games involving ragnarok, 900 of those end without an epic climactic fight but just one person tapping out. Well of Urd is better balance wise and for actually letting norse play out a late game, but I wonder if there was some way to preserve the "feel" of a sudden surge of heroes? Like every minute you get a "charge" to a GP to summon heroes of ragnarok, so you get the choice to hold onto them for a final fight or use them as they come?

You can abuse Eggy by spamming early obelisks everywhere to block building foundations, it's cracked af and instawin in this mode

In this game mode you can win fairly easy with Thor, you need to build the armory or even two straight away and keep getting the upgrades. You end up overpowering everyone in the heroic age
