My favorite town track in the entire game. I loved saving my file here just to enjoy the music back in the PS1 days. I can only imagine how incredible Cosmo Canyon will be to visit in Rebirth.
I have a CORE MEMORY of leaving the game on at this part while my dad and his friends played D&D when I was like 9, and eating Pizza Hut Stuffed Crust pizza in one of those small foam kids floor chairs and just JAMMING to this song (until my dad got sick of it and said "OK, mute that or keep playing the game to change it".)
When I first heard the Shinra theme, I wondered why fictional villains always got the best music. When I first heard the Cosmo Canyon theme, I realised that they didn't.
Rebirth killed this area. Cosmo Canyon is by far my least favorite in the game so far. I’m almost done with it, and I can’t wait to be out of there. Such an extreme disappointment from start to finish.
