- You don't have many Dim Sum options in Florida and where do you go if you have a hankering for Dim Sum? I tried a local popular spot and put it to the test.
Location: Yummy House China Bistro
2620 E Hillsborough Ave
Tampa, FL 33610
Mon-Sun 11-2:30pm Dim Sum Hours, 5-9:30pm Dinner hours
My rating is 8/10.
Great to eat: Law Bac Go (Daikon Cake)
Fung Jiao (Chicken Feet)
Average taste: Cha Siew Bao (BBQ Prok Bun)
Siew Mai (Pork and Shrimp Dumping (yellow wrapper))
Not so great, you should pass: Haw Gao (Shrimp Dumpling)
Ha Fun Chern (Shrimp rice rolls)

Would love to see you try Ming Garden, good size proportions, i love it.
Glad to see your allergies have mostly subsided, Francis!!! What a great choice of food to eat. I miss having good dim sum.
Sort of. Enough to eat out a little so at least I can make a video or two.
Omg you are in my city! Yummy House used to have a location on Waters Ave. That was 1000000timea better than the one on Hillsborough, but it was destroyed in a fire right before the pandmeic.
Interesting! Thanks for the background. Their rice dough not so good back then too?
@@BeatTheBushDIY At the old location everything was great. Then they opened up the second location on Hillsborough and then a few years later the fire. :(
There's one on Dale Maybry. Almost to South Tampa.
My family is going to Tampa for Christmas Eve. What is best traditional Chinese restaurant to eat if in Tampa? We love traditional dishes like Peking Duck.
The best? I don’t think I can give you a good recommendation as I only tried a few places.
I can’t unsee the fried steamed chicken feet.
Ha ha... if you're not used to eating it since a child, this might look so gross.
How do you balance going out and enjoying life and your dietary restrictions you recently covered?
Thanks for asking! I've recovered enough miraculously that I can eat many things again. But some worst offender foods I still cannot have like straight milk and not extremely fresh foods.
@@BeatTheBushDIY milk is not good for u anyway drink plant based
all the Chinese in Canada not many in US especially florida.
I guess I'll go to Vancouver to eat more dim sum. =D What? Plenty of Cantonese people in US.
Oh your there to visit your mentor I see!?
One of the things I need to do.
