Wow a Sun Country DC-10! Talk about nostalgia. The NWA colors on a DC-10 looked really good.
0:26 Those DC-9’s climb like rockets

@@rylans.5365 sorry?
Well the (what looks to be a 747-200) looks great on the northwest bowling shoe livery
Boeing 747-151 (N603US)
I love watching your incredible video's thanku so much love an god, bless x
They don’t make ‘em like these anymore.
Good old days when there is still many passenger DC-10 and Queen of The Skies flying around
Homie 747 is still in good passenger service
1:47 RIP that northwest 747 that's now at laurinburg-maxton airport (correct me if I spelled laurinburg wrong)
Anyone notice the first 737 not retract it's wheels after takeoff?
I did
Those 737-200s with the old JT8Ds look awesome thundering down the runway in a cloud of smoke. And the Northwest 747-200.
I've noticed a lot of Northwest planes in these videos!
The Hawaiian DC-10 at 4:45 seems to have a hard time getting the nose wheel down. I count 19 seconds between main landing gear and nose wheels touchdown. But, at least he didn't bounce the whole thing, right?
13:20 The underratest plane ever.
Srecno Putovanje Srecno Sletanje Na pistu Srecno Svako Dobro
That was nice to see Northwest Orient Airlines 747. Nice!!!
1:45 Press F to pay respect for Northwest Airlines 747 registered in N603US 😢
The Northwest 747!!
Back in those years , no Airbus land !!
its amazing how the 717's are still flying today!
1:37 is that b747-100? Look at register: N603US. that plane now decomission in 2000s now is on laurinburg maxton airport (MXE)...
Look at the register....🧐
Yes
Why would someone stupid dislike this video?
Nothing beats the L-1011-1/100 taxi/wind down/ power up sounds from 16:07 till about 16:55, the Rb-211-22b's are so unique sounding in many ways!
Vídeo Top Parabéns Boa Época
Fantastic stuff! Do you happen to have any video footage of a Pan Am 747 in Honolulu? I used to take them there a lot in 1989-1990. Would be amazing to see it in a clip. Thanks for your great videos!
Canada 3000-757@ time stamp 20:31❤❤❤✈️
Love classic plane 🤩🤩❤🤸♂
Crazy approach, bit Kai Taky.
1997 ... Garuda Indonesia waktu itu masih melayani penerbangan dari Jakarta ( CGK ) ke Los Angeles ( LAX ) via Denpasar ( DPS ) & Honolulu ( HNL ) dengan pesawat MD 11 kala itu ... Sorry i'm speaking Indonesia

Can anyone tell me why does aircrafts on approach come in at an angle and then turn prior to landing as oppose to coming in straight? Is there a reason?
Looks like they fly away from the city for noise.
My last flight to Honolulu had the same path.
They do this for noise and also there is a mountain range that prevents a straight in approach to RWY 26. This approach only happens a few times year, usually late Summer when they get the Kona winds.
Thank you all.
It's very simple, you should've examined approach and departure charts before asking TH-cam. When landing on runways 26L/26R due to Kona winds, they can't overfly land and do a straight in departure. Mountain and city terrain prevents them from doing this. Populated areas and noise abatement procedures are also a reason. It's fairly common sense.
Those sexy L-1011's, WOW!!
C. Lassard . Sexy? That is a weird word to describe an airplane.
