This sums up my high school years, completely. I'm glad I'm in a better place now. All I have to say to people who are depressed, feeling down and can't seem to face another day: it will get better. I know how it is, I've felt like I had no hope and no reason to go on, no reason to go to school. And I'm not going to be preachy about how you need it...because, in truth...you don't. But in this world, not having a high school diploma means automatic failure in some ignorant people's eyes.
Teddy is so amazing! I can't believe he's going to be at the Crepe Place in Santa Cruz this Friday! The same night as Moonalice is in Felton. How lucky to live here!
Great song, though I'm disappointed with his vocal performance here. His voice isn't as free as it should be, and it sounds like he's got tightness in his throat. It's just not healthy, and physical strain should never be present even when trying to artistically demonstrate artistic strain in the song.

I related to this song from the first listen. Being a depressed teen is a terrible thing! Thank goodness it gets better!
Look what the union of Richard and Linda Thompson produced. Acres of inspiration and incredible music, both for Richard and now, Teddy, their son!

He is a dreamboat...love him & his performances..see him every chance I get...
This was played at the end of a General Hospital (soap opera) episode. I LOVE it. Just amazing!
I like it less now.
@@helethead me too. Soap operas still exist?
Nice guitar playing and unique voice. Great song! Thanks for posting.
I love this song!
Hmm...I feel better. I can't tell when I'm going to spiral down again though. Can't believe I haven't listened to this song in 4 months!
Good ol’ Tedders.
Gifted artist...love this song
A pop song that provides a window into the teenage psyche has a leg up.
Interesting. Teddy's made the transition from the Taylor to the Lowden with the Sunrise sound hole pickup. A chip off the old block.
He should do a live album
And a concert DVD.
cool tune
Is that one of his dad's signature Lowdens?
@barbgerry
I'll try to take your word for it :)
i love him

So effing tired of camera operators and the Extreme Closeups! Jesus! Quit trying to be artsy and just shoot from the waist up.
