I just watched 'My Best Friend's Girl' on Netflix that featured this song. Glad I found in, brings back some bad memories but sometimes feeling pain is a good thing.

I love this song. Like many gems I find in movies, I too found it in My best friend's girl. But it has stuck with me since, and I keep coming back to it. The lyrics are very deep and heartfelt, they have character of their own. Then Teddy's voice, conveying all that pain, and heartbreak just altogether makes this a beautiful work of art. Thanks.
We just saw Teddy perform live on election night in Minneapolis. Music doesn't need to be better than his! Wish he been able to sing longer... mostly to hear IN MY ARMS. Incredible voice!

It's such an achey song that listening to it makes me feel...IDK.. a little like one of those teen-aged girls who makes those little cuts in those soft & vulnerable spots on their arms. (Except that sounds creepy I'd like to think that nothing about appreciating Teddy is creepy.)

He was already excellent when this video was made, but he is even yet better today. Why he has not been the top singer in the US is quite beyond me.
