@rpsyco Yeppers. It was a TV movie called Project: Alf. It's not bad. The first 10-ish minutes are great because it's exactly what you'd want to see from Alf if he ever got captured.
I don't mind the suit, since it's basically just the Future Foundation suit. The art style sucks though. I can tell they tried to make it look like the old comics, but it doesn't work when the animation is less detailed than the actual comics.
They know most people don't read comics and hope people don't notice. Which sucks because comics can be actual works of art, they don't rely on "comicy" gimmicks like ben-day dots everywhere. I wish those who made adaptations stopped ignoring them.

also phantom investigators used the same art style as the "life with lulu" segments of kablaam, btw. I found it to be really weird but kinda charming and technically impressive since it's basically stop motion
I wish they would just look at a comic book. Like Ben-Day dots aren't even that prominent anymore, but even when they were that wasn't all that made the art. It's like they hit a button to shade with them and that's all there is to it. Also hope the comic panel thing is just for the trailer, busting out of a panel has waaaaay less effect outside of an actual comic, it'll be distracting.
@billbill6094 yea I totally agree, or just make it 2d animated but since thats more expensive I assume, that probably wasn't even on the table anyways sooo :(
Man that trailer looked generic. It has the floppy 3D animation of the What If cartoon, with a rip off Spider-verse style because the more ben day dots the more comicier it is. I wish we could actually get a comic artstyle fully animated but whatever, nobody's done it yet and it's not on this show to do it first. That said that voice acting was rough too. He had the weird Disney channel teen speak that Tom Holland had but spoken way less sincerely, how was the main character voiced by the only person who I didn't believe? A postitive for the trailer was we got Norman rocking his iconic waves, shit was spinning, and we got a slightly overdesigned Future Foundation suit. (But if I had to guess they added those ugly red flairs to the suit to grab the eye because it didn't stand out in that style, which just proves the issue with that style, they should've gone a different direction.)
i don't really mind the art style, it looks fine by me. peter's suit here is like the homemade suit from homecoming, and i think that fits perfectly for a high school spider-man. he's definitely gonna have the classic suit by the end of it
The Action Man cartoons of the early 2000s was a banger show and that was all CG. I don't think I ever finished watching it though. That 2003 Spider-Man cartoon was also a largely good show. Only problem is that it lasted one season and it ended on a downer. Somehow it had Neil Patrick Harris as Spider-Man and Rob Zombie as The Lizard. If Charlie wants to see some shit, he should check out The Ferals.
Dinosaurs had 2 different endings I think because the show was probably going to end but got renewed. The first ending was the meteor which we were led the audience to believe the world was ending but the show continued after and the 2nd and final ending was climate change caused by over industrialization largely prompted by the ozone panic of the time... and also these are the two prevailing theories of what happened to the actual irl dinosaurs; climate change not over-industrialization, but how cool would that be? The two events could be related as the meteor could have caused some climate change which later prompted the actions in the actual finale where they try to fight it by making it so much worse.
