Thanks for posting PT. My vet just says to walk him. That plan worked for another dog that had both legs done 15 years ago. But she was a puppy and current dog 4 so wanting to do more for him.

I can't thank you enough for these videos. I have been a wreck about my girls Patella Luxation. She is a Yorkie 5 lbs and very timid & fragile but I will try some of this PT before I consider surgery. Thank you

Hey Courtney! My one year old bichon poodle just went through this surgery and has just finished week four, onto week 5. I noticed she's still lifting her post-op leg up, was Hank doing this at all? My dog is very energetic and often wants to walk quickly, it's hard for me to have her slow down. Can't tell if this is why she's lifting! Other than that she is weight bearing. What do you think?

my dog weighs 72 pounds...she will need this surgery as well. i really gotta work on my upper body strength before her surgery i can't carry that moose further than i have to..lol she is a mutt her dna says great pyrenesse alaskan malamute black lab australian shepard... the list continues. = MUTT but she is my mutt. Only thing is i have 2 mini schnauzers that will try to provoke her if they get the chance to play with them so im thinking i will definatley have to crate her when im not within arms reach of her she is 18 months old and hopefully not growing anymore. i think they have to check that before surgery.
