I stopped caring about this duel cup after lvl 16. Every second game was vs Spright, Runic or some other stunlock deck. If people have fun playing againt the same 3 decks in Max lvl then more power to them. But for myself I would rather save my sanity and avoid it. Then its fine I miss out on the last gem rewards cause I already got what I wanted.
I have fun not complaining and having a strong mind
I couldn't reach max level because I always face these decks at the end lol
I felt the same. I stopped after lv. 13 cuz it was like the same deckout strategy, where I really couldn't do anything if I couldn't stop them from decking me out.
Try playing the gambling decks, it’s super fun and requires hardly any skill, allllll luck 😂

Another awesome deck there seriously ruinick, labyrinth and now spright are seriously annoying i have been following for a while my favourite was the obelisk numeron deck had to add cards like chaos hunter and royale decree because my luck in drawing is horrible wasn't drawing duster or lightning storm when I needed them most😂😂
Right now I am using pure Egyptian gods in deulist cup gotta say it's satisfying to beat them with the gods😂❤

@OttoDerRentner I never really played the meta. Mostly because I didn't have the cash to keep up with the game.
The decks I run in MD are Red Eyes, Cyber Dragon, Dragonmaid and Ancient Gear. 3 of which are old favourites, one is blatant simping for Dragon mommy
With Timaeus the United Dragon unveiled, I hope we'll see his counterparts receive a similar representation. Well, otherwise, while Dark Magician has gotten plenty of fusions over the years, is there a fusion you'd like Dark Magician Girl to get beyond the Dragon Knight?
Critias the United Dragon!? It would be cool if that card could search normal traps, like Crush or Mirror Force, to make easier access into its fusion summons
Maybe even better of an idea. Maybe more supports for the Legendary Knights. That way, we get the Legendary dragon support and Legendary Knight support.

Hey awesome video, im new to the game and have been working on building a DM deck and the way you showcased your deck is great. I have one question though in one of those battles i see you using "Dark Magic Attack" Is there a reason why you would need to use that card instead of "Dark Burning Magic"?
Hi I am a fellow DM user. Dark Burning requires you to have BOTH DM and DMG on the field to use its effect. Also some monsters react to the feild blowing them up. Whereas Dark Magic Attack only requires DM. And since you summon DM more than a DMG its more viable.
sorry forgot to add that DM Attack wipes the backrow which is a generally safer move.
As well as for dark burning attack you need monsters who’s original names are dark magician and dark magician girl. It does not work with fusion who’s name is treated as DM while on the field
Also DMA is searchable with eternal soul
I like dark magician deck for sure but I slap a Vanity's Fiend down and 9/10 they can't do anything but if I don't get that draw where I can summon him on my 1st or 2nd it's pretty hard to beat cuz it has so many search cards to bring out the traps and spells you need

most meta players aren't even good.. they play like bots, yes i expected him to just leave his field spell and it would have been good for me banishing his entire backrow(5 cards) but he just panicked i guess

lmao never in any of those duels did imperm show up. I'd have preferred if you showed proof of getting to DL max with this by showing your most recent wins and losses and then show some of those replays to prove it was DMs vs those decks, but you were facing top tier decks and there weren't any big misplays AND a lot of the cards played are the commonly used cards. Unlike other DM players(and their opponents) that show suboptimal plays, I didn't find any obvious faults in yours. I'm also very surprised you don't play spellcaster village. All these meta decks you were facing would've lost to that alone.
But it makes sense. Village is a turn 1 card. Skill drain, even if it's turn 2, it still has a lot of value for the overall battle. Evenly matched and imperm can turn the tides.

You don’t use the same deck you show in the deck list you have some trap cards in the deck you don’t show in the deck list
