@@moirfan9451 The brightness of AOD changes Automatically. For example if you're at a dark place while turning off it'll show the AOD in Low brightness. If you're outside, while turning off it'll show at high brightness.

The only problem I have with my mi band 9 pro is that none of the watch faces have British-style dates (DD/MM as opposed to MM/DD) and there's no option to change it

Great review of the Xiaomi Mi Band 9 Pro! It was interesting to learn about the new features such as the improved screen and additional fitness modes. Nice to see that Xiaomi continues to raise the bar in the smart bracelet segment. A great choice for an active lifestyle!

How its back for homescreen automatic?
Cause when I change for exemple for the music layout, he always still in that “Page”. Even when the acreen turns off and on again

Very similar, but the Watch Lite is bigger and can make calls I believe. So could be a good option if you care about those things.
Does this have a 'water lock' feature to prevent screen activation when in the shower? Is the feature accessible with a Samsung phone? I believe i saw another Mi band that had the feature, but only worked with certain phone brands.
Also, does this give a notification when the Bluetooth connection breaks? My miband 6 only notifies when it reconnects, which is not as ideal as when the connection breaks.

If it had nfc payments I'd jump at this. I have the excellent mi band 9, super light. But payments is a key feature for me.

Previous Mi Band Pros had the problem that fitness and steps were not synchronized with Mi Fit, unless you open the app. So If you don't open Mi Fit just before midnight, you have no record of the steps taken during the day. Is this issue fixed with the 9 Pro, or is it still the same problem?
Just have the mi fit app turned on in the backround and have sync on and you should be good

Is there an easy way to get "Home" while the watch is on, and you're inside one of your apps or on a different screen? Because there's no physical Home button.
So with my fitbit charge there is a feature called active zone minutes where the watch counts the minutes starting from a certain heart rate threshold that they consider it as active zone to tell you how active youve been in a day or in the week as a whole. Is there anything similar to that for this watch?

I don’t think I said the GPS was unreliable on the previous Gen. I’ve had no problems..

Nothing happened. But over the years it might slowly wear it because of the heat and soap. But a lot of people just leave it. I do.

I think it will be pretty reasonable. It’s not that large. It’s a smart band remember not the smart watch.

This is on the strava website. Not sure if it will only work on watches or watches on bands. I know there are third party apps as well that can do it.

Log in to the Mi Fitness app.
Open Profile > Connected Apps.
Tap the button next to Strava to authorize Mi Fitness to connect to Strava.
Tap Authorize and log in to your Strava account to complete.
Android
Select the Profile tab in the lower right corner of the app.
Tap on Settings and then select Third Party Data.
If you have the Strava mobile application installed, you should see it listed under Accounts and
Authorization.
Select Strava from the list of apps, this will prompt you to log in to your Strava profile for verification and connection.
Select the permissions you would like Mi Fitness to access on Strava, then select Authorize.

Great watch for the money but after watching your review i expected more accuracy. Sleep monitoring is not good at all . Showing way too much deep sleep and does not record many times when you wake up ..

I was hoping to also, but unfortunately this NFC paradox has been around for nearly 3 years now. Have it in China but not globally. I think they would not get regulatory approval in the EU and so on.

To be honest, you can’t really tell that it’s curved, it’s a really small curve that helps your finger move better when you swipe from the edge of the screen for back gestures and going through menus. I thought it was neat.
It's not a curved screen, only the glass above it is curved.
