Love how this conversion build is coming together. The swivel leather chairs are a great addition to the van.The living area bit looks like it got good potential.Slick look so far 😀 I can't wait to see what you have in store for the next installment :) well done great job.
Really nice the leather seats look so comfy and with the swivel passenger seat it makes the living area so much bigger . I like what I see with the Bed and kitchen .can't wait to see the next instalment . Well done
Great work here. I came here to see how easy it is to fit different brand cars. If u can find S class seats for cheap u may want to go for them as they're super comfy for long drives 😊
I swapped those over from the original seats, just didn't cover that part much in the video. They had to be swapped as the belt clips wouldn't work in the new seats and it gave an airbag light until the old ones were swapped in and plugged back in. Now no airbag srs light and the seatbelts secure as securely as the original seats
Question, have you ever fitted single seat into passenger side, in a Renault Master 2009 van, if so what did you fit ?? if not what would you recommend...
Hi, just a query, I'm currently changing my seats in my Primastar and i am thinking of put in a swivel base. I had a look at the ones you used but they have no dimensions. My seat base/rails are 45cm wide, will the swivel base fit? Loving the videos! Jo
@@TheCampervanBuilder sorted thanks used my old ones as the vivaro ones I got woth the seat have been cut for some reason. Also the blue wire should I connect a switch going from that to the positive under the seat
Be careful when you put car seats in a van, it doesn't quite work. The angle of the steering in a van is different than a car, so the driving position becomes awkward. A Talbot Express van I bought and put car seats in used to really bugga my back, after an hour behind the wheel I was in a lot of pain. I foolishly threw the original seats out as they were rough.

Those seats look comfy. The swivel seat is a nice extra too 👍
Thanks and yes they are very comfy
Just bought these seats to fit to my renault master mk2, they look great. Got my single seat bade too so hopefully an easy fit.
Remember to swap the pretensioners too or you’ll get an airbag light
What about seat belt fitment and pretensioner wiring???

I've never converted any Renault vans

I don't have dimensions to hand but get a swivel made for the base and adapt the seat rails to fit is the best way to do it
Be interested to know if there is much of a height difference between the standard seats & the ones you have put in?
They are lower than standard factory seats
Can it still raise up and down in height with front handle?
Yes the electrics still work including height adjustment
Nicely done!! Are the Rx8 seats lower?
Yes
After installing the passenger seat got seat belt warning light any idea what's up with it
You need to swap the belt pre-tensioners over or you get that light

Is insurance void now ,check with your cover
If all is declared then no issues
