Yes most of the seats I've fitted over the years have needed some kind of mod or mounting plate, its rare to find different seats that have the same mounting holes
I've never had TT seats that had the heating option fitted, but I have wired up Mazda RX8 seats with the heated option. If you have heated seats, just wire them to a switch so they can be turned on & off and also place an inline fuse for safety
Just following your video to do the same in mine… Thanks very much mate. Do you put the little extra brackets (that connect the other side of the seat) on the swivel seat aswell?
yes the swivel bolts to the base using all original holes, then to the seat using 2 original holes for 1 side of the chair and extension brackets for the other side
Not at all, already been on a 4 hour road trip to Scotland and they are very comfortable. It's not my first time using these seats so knew what I was getting
Great job, definitely worth the upgrade.
Your really good at conversions m8
Hi tried fitting Audi seats to t5 bases the Audi seats where a lot wider so you will need the plates

Does the bulkhead give any rigidity to the shell?
it would but isn't needed as these vans can also come with no bulkhead at all
As always mate..👍👍
Just trying to follow this to do the same, did you make the brackets yourself, or buy some?
made my own
One of my faves 😊
Hi, I am just about to change the same seats now... Have you ever connected heated seats and was heating working?

@@TheCampervanBuilder thank you for letting me know
I am about to fit Audi TT heated seats into my T4 and would love to get heating working 🙂🙂
Would it be possible to add an apapter plate to this swivel/base for my Audi seats to swivel without any obstructions?
You can make anything fit with enough time and tools

Hi
Do you know wether those seats will also fit straight on a vw t6 base? Regards
with modification, you can make any seat fit any base. These weren't direct bolt on in the original mounting holes, they needed a bit of work to fit
have you still got the seats
no they were sold a long time ago
Hei. They are not lower lower base than original?
they sit higher than a standard van seat
Great job, is the van moted now
Yes
Looking mint. How much were them seats. Cheers.
About £150 for a nice set
@@TheCampervanBuilder cheers m8
Has anyone found a solution to the handbrake problem? The T5 you can fold down with a kit but the T4 it gets in the way.
Que guay
Thumbs up m8
Not much help with the seats getting fitted
This wasn’t a how to video, I have more detailed seat fitting videos on my channel
Your be putting back the originals soon if not already if these are out an Audi TT so uncomfortable!
