After the Immersion box set with marbles. Pink Floyd and co, brought out a cheaper Discovery box for £65. And it's good value. So I'm sure McCartney and Star could do something similar with the Beatles and their own music?

Thanks Paul for a great unboxing. If I had the finances, I'd buy this in a second, but I'll settle for the 6-CD, 2 Blu-ray deluxe set. I'm looking forward to your unboxing of that set soon...thanks!

😁 ... all somehow in the end pretty cheap cheese, expensively packaged. The only interesting thing is the 7 LPs - you could have done it without everything. And you can get the book without any of the stuff.
All well and good. But where do you put this huge thing without it getting in the way and taking up unnecessary space? The same problem was with the Harrison treasure chest from All things must pass. Very nice piece, but actually useless, isn't it
Wish I had a lazy $2,300.00 in the bank for this luxuriant item. I still think that the estate of John Lennon have basically followed the lead from George Harrison's estate in relation to their 2021 Uber box commemoration of ' All things must pass' They are probably kicking themselves that ' Imagine' was released in deluxe edition format before seeing what the estate of George Harrison had done. There's now an interesting precedent set as to who can come up with the most interesting, innovative and creative looking super deluxe boxsets between the Beatles as solo artists. Sean Ono Lennon has taken the cake with ' Mind Games'
The most insane, nonsensical box set I ever done seen! How else would I describe it but a sprawling, multi-mix behemoth. What's next? The Walls and Bridges Ultimate Collection that includes 20 different variations of the album? 😂
Can you imagine buying each Beatles album in this kind of presentation? Including the Past Masters, Blue and Red, you will end having practically ONE ROOM full of monster boxes, adding to this that you'll be paying more than $ 15,000.00 for all of them... You'll be finishing POOR (too much cost of 💸💸💸💸)
It's also really interesting why they went out their way to clobber this all together. To get more sales? Mind Games is an average album. I was so disappointed when I first heard it as a teenager in the 90s, especially after POB. The title track is a classic and Bring on The Lucie, Meat City, Intuition and You Are Here are strong tracks. But the rest of the album lacks. Twee filler for most. His first solo albums warrants this treatment maybe, but this one doesn't.
This is where Box Sets jump the shark.
This box is a concept by which we measure our pain.

If I had the money, I’d totally buy it!! Out of my price range, unfortunately… Very cool though. Thanks for sharing! Love your channel!
Thanks for watching!
@@sdeditionI love your videos! I just preordered the hardcover book that is included in the box set, but I think it’s missing some content? Your book is 355 pages and the book on Amazon is 288 pages? We’ll know better when it comes out. I doubt it will come with the slipcase, as you mentioned. I really love the box set. I wish I had the money. lol. Very cool.. Keep up the great work. :)
It is a great set but I can’t help but wish they’d have made a vinyl box that was ‘affordable’ rather than an over the top one like this. Nothing wrong with it though, we can either buy it or not, cheaper CD options are available.
Yes, surprising they didn't do a 7LP at £200-ish
😁 ... all somehow in the end pretty cheap cheese, expensively packaged.
Similar with McCartney. Band on the Run in 2010 wasn't particularly flashy, but 'Wild Life' and Red Rose Speedway were!
@@sdedition the flaming pie collectors box was impressive!
Sorry Paul, but I fell asleep during the unboxing. Not your fault! 🥱😵💫🥴
Looks great!! But the price.....
This is Insane but if I can afford it I would definitely buy it
Do you all think this is a lucrative investmant? Will its price go up in years to come?
If they did something like this with a Radiohead boxset, I would lose my mind. Cool set.
I don't know whether this is wonderful or ridiculous!
The most insane, nonsensical box set I ever done seen! How else would I describe it but a sprawling, multi-mix behemoth. What's next? The Walls and Bridges Ultimate Collection that includes 20 different variations of the album? 😂
Awesome 🎉 loved it ❤
Can you imagine buying each Beatles album in this kind of presentation? Including the Past Masters, Blue and Red, you will end having practically ONE ROOM full of monster boxes, adding to this that you'll be paying more than $ 15,000.00 for all of them... You'll be finishing POOR (too much cost of 💸💸💸💸)
I can't believe the goons at Universal rejected "Sometime In New York City" yet approved this...what knuckleheads!
Hahahaha what is that monstrosity where’s anyone going to store the set. Thanks for the usual expert comments from the Super Deluxe King.❤
Lots of Yoko in this John solo album.
А сколько это чудо Стоит???
John Lennon would've hated this extravagant piece of luxury commercialist nonsense, I think.
If Paul McCartney ever asks you to hold his beer, RUN.
