The message of "Give a Little Bit" is to light many candles with a single candle, sharing of ourselves, our love and our smiles with others, showing that you care. I saw Roger perform this one with orchestra in Milwaukee and the energy felt in the room was so palpable, the feeling's been with me ever since. I have to say Roger's still got it! Let's do it all over again :D
Sorry to be off topic but does someone know of a method to log back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb lost my login password. I appreciate any assistance you can offer me.
Gracias Roger.

I hope the Amazon advert inspires some younger people to search out the wonderful music that Supertramp came out with in the 70's and 80's. They were an absolutely brilliant band that were not appreciated as much as they should have been. Roger Hodgson seen here still tours today and his unique voice has held up really well.
76 juno I know right this song is good for the delivery commercial for amazon because it sounds like its a song for giving And it is and I see that and its amazing wait amazon - Amazing? @-@
I lost my wife a little more then a year ago ,and i was in a really deep dark hole, and then i saw this really awsome lady who i want to give a little bit of my everything to
I’m sorry for your loss but I’m not gonna sugar coat it. She’s dead. She’s not in heaven or hell shes in the ground and that’s it. Move on or be stricken by grief for the rest of your life.
One of my favorite songs from one of my favorite albums. I was about 15 years old, had my first real quality home stereo, and was really into the rock music scene with a zeal! I played this album, "Even In The Quietest Moments" from start to finish maybe more than anyone else ever. This song was always cranked. What a great song!
for Robin Williams, he gave so much of himself to others and brought joy and laughter to our lives. R.I.P. We should all give a little bit of ourselves
This song always brings a smile, and then to share that smile with others ... that's the cycle of 'Give a little Bit' :) A smile can mean so much for someone's day. Amazing that Roger wrote this when he was only 19.
Great message this song shows us. It's so simple but so difficult. The perfect song for solidarity, in fact, Roger has given it for so many humanitary causes, which honours him. And what to say when you can enjoy it in the shows. It's a blast! Everybody stands with a big smile on our faces. How much happiness we can feel. It's perfect to sing along. Many times we feel the need to hug one to each other during this song. Roger usually plays it at the end of the shows, and it's the best way to come back home humming this timeless song, as many others by Roger.
It's just a great shame that Roger and Rick can't hear the message in this song and drop there differences and come together once more to give us a live performance of their unique talent's as first class musicians. What I would give to see that happen!!!...
Great song by a great group thanks for the memories super Tramp what a hot song and summer I unfortunately was in Hospital but I still do remember the lovely Nursers god bless them
This guy just stakes out and owns a corner of music. No one else can be so upbeat and infectious, yet so poignant and sorrowful at the same time. It's like “Alone Again, Naturally” and “I Feel Good” got mashed.
I member playing foos ball to this song on the juke box with my best freind Charlene at free st. pub!! what a blast that use to be! thanks 4 posting this song roger!
I've seen Roger several times and there is nothing better than seeing him with an orchestra. Pure heaven! If you haven't seen Roger live, you need to. And given the opportunity, see him with an orchestra. The best moments are when members of the orchestra let go of their very formal demeanor and start rocking out with a Roger. Check them out in this video! They live him!
The universal melody that unites cultures of different countries, ways of thinking, religions. No doubt with this song there are no boundaries. A melody that expresses the best of each of us, the best of humanity, solidarity of people and the positive to help others. All for a better world. Sing this song with Roger and the public at live concerts, watching the happy face and the warm atmosphere live!, Is incredible.
Cándido Pérez Creo que estabas en el concierto de Roger Hodgson la semana pasada en Jerez de la Frontera, Roger te mencionó antes de una canción! Cuando he visto este comentario me he acordado inmediatamente jajajaja
@@evareinacazalla6829 Muchas gracias Eva, así fue. Un gran momento inolvidable, espero que disfrutases del concierto como yo, y como todos los que allí estuvimos.
Love your songs and I'm sorry...I;m a 63 year old guitars player. who had been listening to you for many a moon. I love my 12 string electric . I can play this without thinking. It's beautiful!
Great Roger, Great Supertramp... This song is more important than many things we usually worry about because on its own gives all the strenght and energy that people need.
Just amazing 🤩 message to us all in theses crazy’s times “give little bit” “ give little bit of love” just so lovely just bit back and listen 👂 too xxx
Just so many MEMORIES...the 70's... The BEST...NEVER been the same since!!!!! Scary how much Roger & Geddy Lee look & sound alike!!!!! Could be twins 😊
This song popped up in my playlist just now, what a heart's hymn! it's a smile captured in a song :-) So many songs that Roger Hodgson wrote endlessly inspire and touch so many lives around the world, several generations and all walks of life.
Roger, PLEASE come back to the Midwest USA, we MISS YOU. Can't wait to hear your inspirational songs again this Spring 2018! We saw you a few times this 2017 and every show was more special than the first! Happy Thanksgiving!
Through this Roger’s classic we can notice that Roger's voice is still unique, strong, high, in fact is better than before! Adding to this, the performance of his famous hits are technically better now, technically perfect! Amazing!
This song was released when I was 16 and has been one of my very favorites over the years. I never tire of it -- beautiful music combined with a powerful message. It's my ringtone.
And "here we go again...." I just love it! :-) This song really has a magical way of bringing everyone together, sharing our life journeys through Roger's music. This feeling here is exactly what is experienced at Roger's concerts, everyone with a smile and feeling uplifted by the concert's end.
Such a honest and beautiful song with a unique legendary voice. I can't believe other bands have the nerve to try to remake this song. There are certain songs that should never be sung by other bands, like "Stair Way To Heaven" by Led Zepplin, "More Than A Feeling" by Boston, and this song by Supertramp, because the songs would never be as memorable without the distinct voices of their original singers.
I had the priviligie of seing this show in Spain and when Roger appeared and sang this song along with three other (perhaps even less) it was a moment that I never forget in my life. Roger sounds extremely well when he is playing with an orchestra. It is as if his songs were written to perform them like this. But the actual band who is on tour with him is as wonderful as it was Supertramp. Don´t miss the oportunity to see them if you have the chance. You don´t regret this advice.
Looked this up after seeing the Hershey's add with this song. Grew up with this song. Love it. It reminds me of what everyone's going through with the Corona virus. The one positive thing I noticed out of this is that people seem kinder not in such a rush. Willing to take time and smell the coffee More compassion. Wish it was always like this
"Give a little Bit" solely makes me want to learn how to play the 12-String ... Thanks Roger !! If there was to be a theme song for humanity, this would be it. It really is life's mantra. We can all connect with this song in some way in our day to day lives, keep on giving.
Saw these guys live back in 1985 with my mom when I was only 8. My mom is so awesome! There was an older guy passing around a massive joint rolled in a newspaper page 😂!
With all the pain, suffering & atrocities in the world, this just proves that in music we can all unite in peace, love & happiness.... & be healed, even if just for a short while ☺️🙏🏻❤️
Possibly the best 12-string pop song ever written.
Music is Great Britain's gift to the world..
The message of "Give a Little Bit" is to light many candles with a single candle, sharing of ourselves, our love and our smiles with others, showing that you care. Absolutely beautiful...

+Berzel Meier why are you here
Sure Was
So few people would sadly know his name though they would know and love his music and, of course, know the name Supertramp. A musical genius.
Even fewer recall the name Richard Davies - just as great a muso and often totally ignored.
2 Words........ "My Childhood"
Definitely a genius
I love this song

P Cass there’s no such thing like sugar coating or whatever. You’re just an asshole.
I'm glad you met someone who made you feel the joy that you feel when you hear this song. It really is lovely.
A Masterpiece from the 70s.
These words are more pertinent now more than ever.

Very powerful singer, Roger has a kind heart and he raised all of his children that same way.
see the man with the lonely eyes take his hand you'll be surprised .... My favorite thoughtful lyric Rodger is the best!!!!!
Roger is a gift to all of us....he is simply magical.
for Robin Williams, he gave so much of himself to others and brought joy and laughter to our lives. R.I.P. We should all give a little bit of ourselves
Well said. Thanks for that.
There is nothing of me to give. That's worth anything...
People only care about them self now days. People won't even give you a smile walking down the street
..... this Song is about 40 years old and still actuall... this is what you call an evergreen... Roger Hodgson, God on Earth !!!!
Brilliant. Unlike the latest Amazon ad which has absolutely murdered this classic.
Just WOW! He's still got it!!
This song always brings a smile, and then to share that smile with others ... that's the cycle of 'Give a little Bit' :) A smile can mean so much for someone's day. Amazing that Roger wrote this when he was only 19.

I enlisted in USA when this came out and sent my future wife an album. She loved it..still does!

One Of The Best Songs Ever Written
Roger with an orchestra....... His music was written for just a marriage... A must see, but warning there will be tears!!
Yes, You could use this song for wedding. Imagine: "Now you can kiss the bride". And then the song comes up.
Great song by a great group thanks for the memories super Tramp what a hot song and summer I unfortunately was in Hospital but I still do remember the lovely Nursers god bless them

Now this is far and away the best version of this song I've ever come across. Orchestral instruments, a choir; even a saxophone !
Supertramp were a fabulous band in the late 70's and early 80's. Roger Hodgson still sounds great today.
Beautiful..
Darling Maz - your song.......I miss you more than words can tell X

There is nothing better than when a classic hit is performed with an orchestra.
Best version ever! The flutes enhance and add that special touch of emotion, anticipation, and excitement. Well done Roger as always.
And "here we go again...." I just love it! :-) This song really has a magical way of bringing everyone together, sharing our life journeys through Roger's music. This feeling here is exactly what is experienced at Roger's concerts, everyone with a smile and feeling uplifted by the concert's end.

it's a complicated arrangement to replicate properly
Tempos difíceis. Onde o certo virou errado. Valores errados. Conduta errada. Resta só saudades do que era bom.

Looked this up after seeing the Hershey's add with this song. Grew up with this song. Love it. It reminds me of what everyone's going through with the Corona virus.
