It's almost as if Larian knew people would spend forever in the character creator so they decided to add more variance to the music.
I believe that was the original plan. Sven knew people would want to take the time to create their own unique character, if provided enough tools.

It’s funny. This music makes me so nostalgic for just a few months ago when this game was still so new to me. I didn’t know what I was doing, how my character’s story would play out. And listening to these songs after having beat the game and recognizing how these melodies develop, the journey they’re associated with? It feels like it’s all come full circle. And coming back here reminds me of the start of that journey.
But I’m not sure why I’m trying to put it into words when these songs express more than I could ever say.

I checked the soundtrack but couldn't find it. It sounds like another version of Down By The River though.
