The daughter is hurt but she has to understand that some of the questions she's asking she'll never get an answer to. She needs therapy. She has ever right to be angry, but TO BE IGNORANT ABOUT IT. YOU call me & cuss me out. I WOULDN'T CALL ANYMORE EITHER.

I think that was to protect their identities. Her mother did the sane thing and the father did too. He said they said "they" was taking her to the store to buy clothes. Emphasis on THEY! I could be either way. But she said her immediate family loved her, their real family was the ones that made her feel a type of way. So that's double abandonment. 😢

It’s not absolutely nothing when you abandon your responsibility to your child. A child comes into the world with a natural desire and longing to connect with their parents. The only thing that changes that is the parent. Folks don’t raise their child, don’t disturb a healthy relationship, and are then surprised when their biological child doesn’t respect them.

Good evening. I came from a broken background and my mother was on hard core drugs and she left behind 6 children and for years we all blame her due to abandonment my mother will pop out kid after kid and all of us would actually do everything to not face us. None of us know fathers that’s the part hurts the most and I understand those drugs had the best of her, after a while we all tried our best to love her as time grew over the yrs.
Today she is actually clean after 27yrs she is a great mother and grandmother to my children and her younger sister children kids ;she is 72 years old.
This story sort of hit home and it brought tears to my eyes because I truly wish she never touched drugs. I suffer from abandonment and trust issues behind it all. God plays a huge role in my life ❤.
God bless all of you on this show!!❤❤

May Gods love and mercy envelop you and your family. You are strong. So sorry you never got to know your other parent. Every child deserves to know who they are and where they come from. I have never touched drugs or alcohol, it’s not apart of my culture and so it’s such an eye opener to see how drugs destroys families emotionally, physically and robs mothers/fathers from their children. Thank God you got your mother back, and got to experience a relationship with her. And congrats to your mother for winning the battle with addiction. God is great.

Lex needs therapy. I was raised by my grandma and I now consider it a blessing and apart of my story that I was spared and raised up right and not dragged from crack house to crack house and probably being abused etc. she needs to get therapy and stop playing victim, be grateful for the life she does have because the life she wanted is a fantasy. Whether it affected/devastated those who used it, sold it & or the children who were born into it! Facts are it literally plagued us as a community, shoot it's 2023 & it still continues to play a big part in generational curses. I wasn't even born until after the 80's & I know that. I just really need her parents to NOW DO THE WORK!

@jesslivinlife: You are absolutely correct. You see, because time is so very short, we do not have the ability to go back in time and fix untoward issues. Therefore, to begin the attempt to heal, we must take steps to refuse to remain the "victim." So long as your past has presence in your current life, you will have unending toxicity in the days ahead. IT WILL TAKE PRAYER AND DILIGENT WORK ON THE "VICTIM'S PART TO HEAL AND NEVER LOOK BACK AT WHAT WAS!
We all must remember that we have the power to choose our continued course in life: happiness or misery, to love or to hate, etc.

She said that she would rather be with her mother than having a good childhood. It’s giving ungrateful. I understand that family comes first but she has no idea what life is like living with parents on drugs and in and out of jail. “Them people” took good care of her and she had a good life compared to her sister who went from home to home.

Lex is too much. She had a proper family. Now knowing that her mom was on drugs she as a parent, should understand that no matter what, you are going to do the best for your seeds no matter what! Now she keep going on and on....baby you either want them in your life or not but if nothing else, you are creating a hard space for your kids with the grief and trauma. Stop blaming them and start the hell over

    1) you had two teenagers had a baby who themselves lost without guidance
2)A mother influenced by drugs and poor environment made a decision she thought was best because she already displaced a child with the father.
3)Lexi needing the void filled of knowing someone wanted her and that she is not rejected.
Rejection is one of the mental phase every human being seek to avoid and find themselves adapting and adopting towards places, things, environments and people to be accepted and be approved. A small percentage will not seek such.
Lexi will have to acknowledge her pain of what happen and make a decision doe she desire to help from the situation and move forward to healing and step to have a relationship. Just as a person goes through grieving stages this has stages and should be allowed to go through the process.
One thing people have to get out of is pointing the finger and acknowledge her pain as Kamaro said.

All of them (except the other daughter) are gaslighting this man as though he is the sole cause of this when the mother is the one who's abandoned, not one but, 16 children. The daughter is hostile, disrespectful, verbally and mentally abusive towards him. The mother refuses to fully admit to the damage she's caused. She (hesitantly) admits to her actions but not to the wreakage she's caused in her children's lives. The man just aplogized but she rejected it. She can't be pleased and, ironically, she allows the mother who abandoned her to be in her ear against her father. Chris, stay far away from this woman. You don't need to have any dealings with her to build a relationship with your now grown daughter.

Lex stated, she was treated well by the family who raised her. The problem came when she met family outside the household. Remember, it wasn't an official adoption. Adult thoughts in hindsight is different as a child.
16 children and how many fathers? At what age did Kristy give birth to Lex? Kristy is trying to tell Chris what he should had done when she didn't do shit. Tired of Chrissy thinking she's the only victim, when she got the issues started. Both Chris & Chrissy were young.

I really believe dad is going to show up for Alexis. He really seemed to listen to Karamo with open ears and heart when it came to how he should listen and respond to his daughter when her moments of anger arise. I hope Alexis gets the therapy needed to heal so she doesn't continue to be angry because at some point that will push the people she so desperately wants love from away. I wish the mother would've kept her judgment of the father to herself. She really had no room to judge him when she was an absent parent as well. To say what he should've done could be deflected right back to what she should've done. In those moments all I could think was the nerve of this woman to point out his mistakes before looking in the mirror at her own. l hope she stays clean and stays in her daughters life like she said she would, but for some reason I don't believe she will as much as I feel the father will.

A lot of these issues happen because the Mom's poison these kids minds plus be the reason why these Dad's be absent...they don't want to deal with the toxic moms....not an excuse, but it's part of the problem...yet they keep asking him why he wasn't there....the mom did foul things..no telling what she told that man to keep him away and I believe was really not trying to throw the mom under the bus but they pushed him there...the mom sold the daughter for crack, but nobody's talking about that...can't heal with ALL the truth being exposed...c'mon Karamo, look at ALL the issues...they kept overlooking the mom's bs and only focusing on the Dad...he never once questioned his paternity.. .Mama need to go back under the rock....this whole episode with them pissed me off
