The Bounder Died! I show how the emergency start works that most RVs are equipped with. On some motorhomes it is called aux start. The battery was dead, so it was time to go battery shopping! and install a new one!

I think we all have to make our own decisions on how to stay safe. As a nurse I can tell you its very important to wear your mask and keep your distance. But in the end it is up to the individual. Stay Safe
Hi Dave, I agree with Shawnee. Ware the mask for your own protection. You do not want this virus but it is individual choice. I don't go without mine. We want you to be safe for us and Bella.
Wrong ... Fauchi, or whatever this guy's name has contradicted himself! He released a report that masks ARE UN AFFECTIVE ... masks cause more problems with health verses helping!
I haven't worn masks and have been SUPER healthy!!! Yes I have allergies, yes I naturally cough, I smoke cannabis so I have residual cough at times ... crazy! A cough has turned into farting in public😒

If you have an aux start, you most probably have some sort of solenoid. The ones I have seen are normally closed. When power from the engine battery drops below a certain voltage, solenoid de-energizes and closes and power from coach battery goes into engine battery and charges. When power is up, solenoid energizes and opens the circuit. When the aux start button is pressed, power from the coach battery energies the solenoid and lets power go to engine battery and you can start. This is how my solar charging system keeps all my batteries charged. I can hear it click every once in a while.

My Gulf stream RV does not have the emergency start, I wish it did , but I think I can put one in … it was optional in the specs ! I have only drifted around Indiana, but I want to go out to badlands and my home town in Arizona maybe within a year or so. Keep em' coming DAVE and BELLA !!! Thank You !

Hey Dave the weather looks better than your last video . Your battery could have a parasitic drain , on my damon there was a device called a anti theft device which was used to prevent a draw on the battery when not in use . It was a simple device that hooked to the pos terminal and than the pos cable and it had a lever that was manual that made contact between the two . Bella looks good her weight could be that your are taking good care of her and she gets fed on a regular basis now . You and Bella stay safe .
Dave I'm surprised that's a small battery for that big engine but as long as it does the trick that's the deal.
The cast iron Dutch oven pot is perfect for camp🔥 chili, stews, chicken dishes, stuffed peppers, etc and the skillet makes a wonderful 🍍 upside down cake. 🏕
I have a pretty green and white battery I'll sell you cheap !!! only have 2 left. Ha Ha. Bella sure seem's to enjoy life.She look's happy when she's out running around.

I put a quick disconnect on my engine battery that has solved my extended stay battery problems. Had to buy on amazon for one hefty enough for the starting specs. I disconnect every time I'm home or when I'm camping for more than a few days. Not much $.
It's a good thing you didn't buy the everstart battery from Walmart.I bought one this winter,when it gets 25 degrees or below it dies they're p.o.s. never had to put a new battery on the charger before....many times too.People on the internet call them never start, it's the truth.

Hey Dave fyi . I love feeding my dogs what I eat also. My good friend has a vet that is also a good friend . They told me it is a lot better for a dog to eat meat that we eat but don't cook it serve it to them raw this includes beef and pork and chicken . Fish is best made into a soup cooked in water only til the bones turn to mush fish and chicken bones will cook down into a soft state. This lessens chocking. Cattel and pork bones are less splintery when raw and ther e stomach acid actually softens raw bone. Cooked bones get harder she said.

That is why he mentioned the battery had been allowed to deplete too far a few times. By mentioning that he was saying he understands it is a short battery life... due to accidental depletion too often. Stuff happens, none ifbusbare perfect! 🤷♀️

In Arizona change every 24 to 30 months whether you need it or not. HEAT is not good for battery.
my 2004 bounder did the same after 4 years...died. I just replaced last week. How many miles on your bounder?

You may have a parasitic draw. Check with a multi meter. Dave, I was just at O'Reilly's, it is company policy for employees to wear masks. The workers in my store(spring hill, FL) were not wearing them as well. I contacted corporate via email.
When the second wave of infections start going around it may be a game changer for enforcement.
It will rise some but that's to be expected. Won't be catastrophic like it's played up though.

Stores really should enforce it. Things are not back to normal, whether things are opening up or not. Be glad stuff is open; but take precautions while you're in public, because open doesn't mean safe. Bella, Bella, Bella! My emergency start came off of my generator battery. Great vlog. Masks just re-infect the user. Dr. Say that masks don't help anyone but the most at risk.
It’s the same here in N.S. Ca. Idiots not wearing masks , I sat outside the grocery store the other day and maybe 1 in 20 people wore masks. At first the grocery store workers weren’t allowed to wear them but here employees are allowed to work in dangerous conditions and employers can be fined for making employees work like that. They finally hung plexiglass partitions between clerks and customers but my son still wears a mask. I made him some, one with dinosaurs that kids like to see.....though they are saying only one person from each home should be going out to do shopping and kids should not be in stores. People still do just what they want putting others at risk. My whole family wears them to protect others in case one of us has picked it up somewhere. Both daughter and son in law work outside the home at least a few days a week in public so I stay away from them except about once a day and keep a distance. I have the beginnings of COPD from years of smoking until I quit a few years ago. If you smoke quit if you can, it catches up eventually to everyone. It’s not fun , getting short of breath just walking upstairs. Take care, be safe. 🙋🏼

I went to a KFC the other day and they weren't wearing a face mask or gloves and when the lady passed me my food she rub against my hand. Needless to say I went off on her. This is why I feel this is going to last way longer then people expect. I have found that some people just don't care.

I would wear my mask at all times in stores because someone might walk by sneeze and you breathe. It in then you might be dead. Better safe than sorry.
Don’t make a big deal on the face mask, it doesn’t do anything with facial hair. People are only going through the motions without any idea of the protection afforded. Almost laughable.
n95 masks capture 95% of particles of .3 microns or larger. covid 19 particles range from .06 to .14 microns. n95 masks are better than nothing but not by much. google it yourself.
Possibly O'Reilly's isn't supplying their employees with masks?
