I cried because that was what my mom faced with my stepfather. He bea t us for any little mistake. The church did nothing to help her(us) instead they blamed us that we were stubborn. The worst was when he iron me when my mom travelled. I had away to another town without knowing where I was going. I was an adolescent. When my mom came, she heard I ran away then she started looking for me. My mom divorced that year and we had to start allover

This has to be the best romantic story on domestic abuse that I have watched in the past 4 years and I have watched quite a few. The casting was on point - only the essentials, the environment was well utilized and the acting - oh gosh - the acting was so there. Cassandra and Stan delivered such chemistry that you can easily relate with. Cassandra's facial expressions and the way Stan picked up on them; the best retorts by far. Sonia lives the character. She is simply one of the great invested actresses we have around. Blossom - where do I even begin - I salute your interpretation of the role from dreadful to loving to horrendously dreadful. The picture quality was outstanding. Continuity was a seamless flow and the sound effect was awesome. I simply get put off when you can see a boom mic poking from an angle on the screen or hear the directors voice; even worse when sound is not filtered. I say this movie is award worthy. The story is great. The message is greater and the delivery did it justice. 💥💥💥

Great movie. Well written and acted. So much chemistry between the actors. Sonia Uche never disappoints. Stan and the lady that played grandma nailed their parts, showed incredible chemistry. Overall great movie. I particularly loved the ending where the writer showed that women have an outlet from their abuser.
