- This pattern is a 1 row repeat which has beautiful texture. You can make many projects with this.
The pattern is worked up in multiples of 4 plus 2 and for a baby blanket chain 122 chains using DK yarn / lightweight no 3 and a 4mm crochet hook.
If you would like to use other materials for a different project make a small sample and work out the width by multiplying upwards.

This is a great, simple pattern. I am going to use it for some blankets for kids. Love the texture. Thank you, Nora.

Thank you ❤
This is a very easy, but beautiful stitch that can be used in many projects! Thank you very much!
You're welcome 😊
Love your straight edges with ch2 plus loops. I have also used no t chain with a stacked sc which counts as first dc.
I usually begin sc base row worked in back bumps. It makes a nice edge which matches top edge of final row of right side!
You’re impressive with all these one row repeat gems! Thank you! I like them all!
Thank you! I also prefer the back bumps but it can be tricky for beginners that want to try the patterns . ❤
Thank you Nora. I am really enjoying your videos you make so easy for your viewers to understand the stitches

You’re welcome 😊
❤as always beautiful stich thanks 🎉
You’re welcome 😊
I used this stitch with a bulky 6 rainbow yarn that I've been holding on to for a couple years to make a blanket. I couldn't come up with what stitch to use. I don't use thicker yarn often and I wanted it to have a interesting texture butevery thing I tried was way too dense. This stitch turned out to be just what I was looking for. Gives a nice bubbly texture and appearance and the blanket still has a nice drape even with how thick it is
Oh thats wonderful! Sounds amazing
Great stitch nora love the texture and one row repeat.
Your amazing.💗💗
Thank you! Cheers! ❤️❤️
Lovely for a blanket thankyou
Thank you! 😊
So I do a single crochet border around the whole thing when it’s done
Yes that will work! But you can do a few if you like too 2-3 rows
